I just bought the basic model n95 with 1 gb, I checked the version of the flash preinstalled on it, which is flash lite 3, but, whenever I open any page with flash on it while browsing, it just shows an icon of flash broken or a message that I require that latest player. What to do to watch flv videos, please someone help.

I downloaded the latest n95 firmware today, Flash Lite 3 comes with it. It's incredible, it's incorporated into the browser. I can now fully utilize youtube on my phone.

Full browser youtube, just like on a desktop computer. N95 has had full web page capability since i got it 1-2 years ago, but Flash Lite 2 didn't have .FLV support, which is the file type modern web sites like youtube encode their videos in. Flash Lite 3 adds support for .FLV ;)

Time to upgrade my data plan i think.

Thing is I have nokia n95, but I don't have the full brower video. I can only see it on m youtube. Do you have the 8gb? Cuz maybe you do, and I know 8 does have that figure.

I have the original, UK version too which i think is older than the US one, with an 8gb SDHC card in it. Did you download the latest firmware? It's V 21.0.016.

Yeah i thought we actually got updates earlier, plus i have an unbranded model - some of the branded ones you have to wait for the company involved to do the firmware.

the Developer Edition of Flash Lite 2 should be out in december. Phones with Flash Lite 3 embedded should be out in Q1 2008

there are some technical differences between Flash Video and Device video on Flash Lite. For example with FL3 I can rotate the video, make it full screen, overlay images on top. It could not be done with device video.

Regarding Flash Video, is the defacto standard video for the web.
