Man, you are just great. You shares ideas and project and how to realise them with us, helping anyone who wants to get better to reach it's objective. AND you're such a monster with controllerism - everytime I watch one of your videos, I get inspired with my music stuff here. Just GREAT. Thanks man.
I have one simple question... would I be able to take this buttons to let's say a Guitar Center or a computer store that can install them? I want to buy... but I know I definitely don't want to install, especially me being a rookie at this.
i personally think its more of preference than which is better, for me i prefer the VCI, super easy to use and awsome for live performances and offcourse traktor all the way.
yeah- in hind sight I thought it would have been a good idea to build an entirely new case for it with joysticks, toggle switches, more buttons and other more useful controls. Unfortunately time was essential and this was a relatively easy way to do a significant upgrade.
If I was you I would have built a bigger chassis and installed all cables and boards in it to be able to install bigger platters on this modded vci. Would you think of doing so in the future? This would be a mod I'd really like to do on my unit!
I've had this idea since I had the unit because for me there's not enough space between the crossfader and the platter which makes it hard to scratch with left hand and cut with the right hand. The other way round it works properly..
hopefully with heat shrink tubing :)

Hey guys, I have a question about VCI-100.
Is this equipment good for live performance in clubs and bars?
Between VCI or Numark Tutorial? Wich one would be the most professional sound?
Also between Serato or Traktor? THanks!!
