  • Nick, that is yet another gorgeous boat. If you could please, tell me the name of the second song you used in this video.. Thanks.

  • Is that protective filters useful for the epoxy vapor?

  • @deepbluewaterful I am wearing an organic vapor filter on my respirator. While epoxy does not produce much vapor, it probably is not a good idea to breath the vapor it does produce. The filter does a good job.

  • Very good video showing proper technique! I'm curious-is the squegee a commercially made one, or something home made-looks like it has some thickness to it, but tapers at the edge. Also, when would one use the 6oz. cloth that is also available for this application?

  • @toolguy46 I'm using rubber squeegee that is available from some fiberglassing sources. I also use the plastic squeegees that you can get for autobody work.

6 ounce cloth is suitable for larger boats, tandem kayaks, and kayaks that will used very hard. 4 ounce ends up being very strong, but I double up on the bottom. Use 6 where you just want more strength

  • Love your work, and have been following the series. What is the name of the second piece of music in this vid?

  • @abusingelves The second tune is Donal og by Noirin Ni Rianin
