I kept hearing you talk about this on Linux Action Show and Techsnap, and i thought wow, Chris really takes password management seriously, and he has developed and app for that: LASpass. I will admit to being a little bit disappointed, but am now using LastPass, all the same.
Americans: when the T doesn't sound like a D, is when it sounds like nothing at all.
Mad props to Jupiter Broadcasting, the best content provider in the world, full stop (because a period is messy).
great show... been using lastpass for about a month and wasnt sure at first , but like you said good password hygiene is critical. Do I have to use their ipad app or why cant I just use another browser like Digo and access my vault that way. Hate to loose all of my bookmarks etc to switch everything over again. Thanks!
Wonder how much Last Pass paid them for this show.. I have really lost respect for you guys. You sold out. AND promoted a product that is not 100% safe in anyway. Bad Bad Bad
@MetalxShredder600 seems pretty one sided to me, and incorrect, in the fact that ANY password manager is safe.. Sorry what I say is the truth. It bothers me when un responsible media is so one sided it only means 1 thing, they are being paid to do it.
@boduzapho well i never saw hime say anything incorrect in this video, and he never said ANY password manager is safe. if u got a better sugguestion though, plz let us know, cuz id like to hear it
LOL ever hear of key loggers and packet sniffers? Last Pass is not 100% , the ONLY safe way to store and keep you password is safe is Pen and Paper + Virtual Keyboard.
@TheChrisR12 LastPass can run in off-line mode, which would keep ya goin. Then it supports several export methods. I think they do ok though. They've been around for a few years, and I've used them for at least a couple!
@jupiterbroadcasting Got any tips for using secure passwords for machines or applications (like steam for example)? JB Is epic, keep it up, we love it!
WOW What a channel you guys have!

@jupiterbroadcasting
Hey Chris. I have a question before I decide to use LastPass.
It says it can "(1) access your data on all websites (2) your tabs and browsing history"
For those of us who use TOR and VPNs for specific reasons (non-malicious) how much of a threat to our security does this cause?
