Quake 4 was the best one to me. Aside from graphics, it was realistic. Lots of good story and more options. The AI was stupid as shit and it seemed a little arcade, plus online sucked, but it was an awsome game. Better than some out nowadays.

I feel your pain on the reload bit :( I have a force of habit in every game, after every kill my hand goes to the reload button. I played Quake on PC, 1-5. BTW did you know there are cheats for it on PC and Xbox? and thar be a Quake 5. It's called Quake: Enemy Teritory.
