Yes, Kyle's front wheels and tires were stock on this 10.37 pass and his record 10.33 pass. Car was bone-stock except for the change of rear wheels/tires to improve traction.
The noise on the 3-4 shift was the rev-limiter invoking at 6600 rpm. That can happen on a normal fast shift when clutch-in occurs near red line (6500). When the engine in unburdened momentarily the rpm climbs rapidly and clips the limiter. No harm done.
