It's Loreena McKennit and the song is called Bonny Portmore. It's based on and old Irish Folksong about when the English cut down the forests on Ireland to build ships for their fleet.

This part of the lyrics is particularly sad:

"All the Birds in the forest they bitterly weep

Saying "where shall we shelter or where shall we sleep?"

For the Oak and the Ash they all cutten down

And the walls of Bonny Portmore are all down to the ground."
