Thank you Lord God for showing the Book of Enoch. I'm so surprise to see Enoch vision when he went to see the things that he saw with the angels. Uriel... a powerful angel showed Enoch very graphic things. Praise the Lord Most High for His love endures forever. I want to be on the Lord's side because He loves me and He will never forsake me even when I make mistakes. He is a wonderful God and I'm totally dependent on His commandments and requirements. The stuff the church uses is called the cannon. Other contemporaneous literature from related sources will surface from time to time, like the dead sea scrolls or the gospel of Judas, but they fall outside the cannon, largely for historical reasons.

Keep up the great work Apocryphile, I have been truly inspired by your revelations of the Book of Enoch in your other 5 videos. I must admit, this one has the text rolling by too quickly and the music is distracting, but i guess it will appeal to a different audience than me.

Great video! I enjoyed it very much, and my first thoughts on reading this part of the book of Enoch was that he was looking at galaxies and other cosmic phenomena.
The bible is a collection of works that catholics believed were inspired by the holy spirit. Enoch wrote the book at the command of an angel. simple.. Doesn't fit the criteria for the bible.
certain books of the bible have been omitted, by religions because they deemed them too controversial, the book of enoch is one as well as the book of mary, there are also a few others that the church has been trying to hide for centuries, ask yourself why these men of god would be hiding the word of god.

To me these angels that Enoch is describing sounds like what alot of people are calling aliens. This is the time to awken and let God guide you to the truth. No man can do that!
i think the answer of why enoch wasn't included in the bible was explained from a non historical or scientific view... simply put no one at the time could understand the relavence of the scriptures until more modern times, when the books to be included were being choosen (look this up in your free time) most with outlandish claims (from a christian standpoint) such as enoch, jesus's childhood and immediate family, marys mother, and anthing that impowers the common man (ok not the last one) gone!
The book of enoch wasnt available for consideration at the time the king james cannon was compiled, further more It is my opinion God intended this book to serve a special purpose mainly concerning the elect as stated in enoch chapter 1. Only they will properly understand it - especially with the questionable copies and translations available . Hope this helps .
@xWhiteLightning Because it was meant to be held back until the "DAY OF TRIBULATION," as it states in Chapter 1 verse 1-3. That is why when they brought the book of Jude up to Peter, questioning the apocryphal sources within it, he couldn't simply say, "Sure, Enoch and the Assumption of Moses are valid sources--because we were supposed to be surprised by it in the "Day of Tribulation." What he does, however, is to tell us that these Scriptures came not by the "Will of Man" (2 Pet 1:21-22)
@xWhiteLightning but that prophecy came in "OLD TIME" (Read Enoch--who was BEFORE THE FLOOD, and the Assumption of Moses, which he alludes to in 2 Pet 2:11. He also quotes the Story of Ahikar 7:27 in 2 Pet 2:22 just to let us know that he approves of apocryphal sources. That is why he centers his whole letter around Jude, because THESE were the prophets that were in question, not the 24. It was to be a "RECOLLECTION," which he makes clear many times throughout the letter.
@xWhiteLightning It is my understanding that the cannon we call the bible today was put together via king james 1611 basically, however the book of enoch was lost as a whole until a much later date and wasnt even available for consideration, Further more as stated in Enoch 1:= This book is written the latter generation and it concerns the elect mainly . They follow a literalists view that Jesus existed historically, was the son of the desert god called Yahweh was killed and actually rose from the dead. ordered the book of Enoch be removed from the bible and this happened at the first council of Nicaea A.D 325. At the same time it was decided by voting that Jesus was literally the son of god instead of it being a metaphor for us all being sons & daughters of god. It was rejected in the early church, during canonization, not for its content, but because its origins were unknown. At that time the Ethiopian church was not yet established. MANY early church fathers speak in support of it, or the account in Gen 6. It is not condemned by the Orthodox church, although there are some within the church who speak against it. this is a great exercise in imagination, apoc, but your hermeneutic could be true! there is astronomic info in some classic books predating its discovery ( "JOURNEY TO LAPUTA" by RL STEVENSON for instance )

With the passages taken out of context it may seem like Enoch is describing a black hole, but if you actually read the text in full you will see that he is clearly describing a volcanic island mass formation. Still interesting that he appears to be inside some kind of airborne vehicle whilst he is observing.

Not true the bible its self say that there will be a first and second resurrection. The first resurrection is for the ones whom have lived there live and have discorvered god. my claim here is not that you are not within all of your rights to subjectively view words as having specific meaning. But from an objective, and scientific standpoint, there's not much weight in these words. You probably know that. If you don't already, I invite you to study some cosmology/astronomy and stellar entities such as black holes to see their incredible nature. Actually you CAN study black holes. It's not just "some numbers in some formulae." You can observe the effects of black holes on stars and other interstellar material. When someone makes claims about things, especially those with which they could never have possibly had experience, it is up to THEM to prove it, not others to disprove it. We cannot be 100% sure that a black hole isn't some magic portal, but no evidence suggests that. I read the book of Enoch years ago and was very impressed with the book. The book dates to the time of Enoch. There has been only three copies ever found. one in Etheopia, one in Englands lirary volts. No telling where they got it. The other one I believe came out of Rome. The real point is that this ancient book could do such a great job of describing the black hole thousands of years before modern scienc even called it the black hole. It is where planets that come before their time goes.

this is just selective reading. You've taken statements with some general descriptions and metaphors and interpreted them a certain way. Some of the things mentioned have absolutely nothing to do with black holes. There is no value in this academically or otherwise. Black holes were not discovered until relatively recently. Any description in the book of enoch resembling them is purely coincidental, and anyone with a decent education and who isn't superstitious knows that.

how is a lake of fire an accretian disc? radiation jets aren't actually emitted by black holes, but apper to be. also, a black hole isn't "bottomless" a black hole is a collapsed star so massive that the escape velocity is greater than c. however, the "bottom" would either be the center, or perhaps a wormhole exit. there is no "weeping or grinding of teeth" in the black hole. you're interpreting something to be a black hole when it's not. it's like muslims saying the koran predicts string theory

A Christian will recognize that it was quoted as Scripture in Jude 14 & 15. You're right, I am, because it teaches intellectual dishonesty and has corrupted spirituality. Instead of being truly universal and encouraging humans to search for "god" honestly, it denounces all spiritual paths but one, condemns random human behavior, convinces people that they are, by nature, dirty and sinful, and promises eternal suffering for those who stray from its path. It is, at its root, nothing but tribal mysticism spread mostly, especially in early ages, by violence/indoctrination.

And everything in any of the holy books that claims miraculous events doesn't pass any of those. Enoch is saying that stars are trapped by it, that they encircle it, that pillars of fire pour out of it, that there is nothing either above it or below it, that it is beyond the earth, that there is an "invisible cloud" around it, that its extent and its magnitude are beyond measure, that it is completely dark, but that its fire burned brightly. This is the place where the "Heavens come together." The entire three dimensional reality collapses within a black hole.
Enoch is even supposed to be the revealer of heavenly mysteries. (Especially in the Second Book of Enoch.) How is all of this a coincidence? God is talking to believers here. This book is about judgment. It is about what happens to people who speak harsh words against His greatness. So go ahead and speak against it. Join the crowd. Do the 'safe' thing. you don't need faith. Faith is for us 'superstitious' people, not 'educated' and 'enlightened' people like yourself.
Nothing perfect about your interpretation of these words. You can see whatever you like in them, but it doesn't make them a description of a black hole. The book of Enoch is suspect itself. It was written, say some scholars, in the 5th century C.E (A.D.) making it bogus as to authorship by the great-grandfather of Noah. Most Jews, whose books the Torah and the Tanakh are supposed to be, don't regard the book of Enoch as holy writ.
Supposing you were right, then the ones who supposedly "forged" the book would have unwittingly described a Black Hole anyway. Maybe God worked THROUGH THEM WITHOUT THEIR EVEN KNOWING. If you accept the premise that God can speak through HOLY MEN, realize in the Bible that he also spake through UNHOLY MEN. (Balaam, Saul, Caiaphas, etc.) Also, God had the power to cleanse the unclean. ("What God has CLEANSED, call not thou "Common.")

Hey, I'm only riffing off of your argument. I happen to believe these documents are authentic and that they truly represent the mind of God. I don't think they are forgeries, you do. I don't think these men were unholy, you do. I believe ancient prophets spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. I believe that UNHOLY MEN PASSED JUDGMENT AGAINST THEM. Holy men were then moved to preserve them as best they could, possibly combining texts, possibly emending texts, possibly even composing texts.

One thing which I know though when the The Council of Laodicea decided which of the books were to be included in todays bible, the first thing they did was to pray and ask god which ones were to be included. I believe god answered them and told them which ones were to be included.
But God is God. Jesus says he is the same yesterday, today, and forever. If God could inspire prophets during the times we commonly accept Scriptural writings to be from, how can we be so certain that He couldn't do so at other times. Could He not just as easily do so today? I'm just saying that men have all of these preconceived notions about inspiration, but the one thing they all really boils down to is TRADITION. A baby is composed of food consumed by the mother, so no matter is created. CO2 is a waste product from the alteration of other substances, so no matter is created.
Hence the universe needn't expand in the situations you mention.

The stuff the church uses is called the cannon. Other contemporaneous literature from related sources will surface from time to time, like the dead sea scrolls or the gospel of Judas, but they fall outside the cannon, largely for historical reasons.

Keep up the great work Apocryphile, I have been truly inspired by your revelations of the Book of Enoch in your other 5 videos. I must admit, this one has the text rolling by too quickly and the music is distracting, but i guess it will appeal to a different audience than me.

i think the answer of why enoch wasn't included in the bible was explained from a non historical or scientific view... simply put no one at the time could understand the relavence of the scriptures until more modern times, when the books to be included were being choosen (look this up in your free time) most with outlandish claims (from a christian standpoint) such as enoch, jesus's childhood and immediate family, marys mother, and anthing that impowers the common man (ok not the last one) gone!

The book of enoch wasnt available for consideration at the time the king james cannon was compiled, further more It is my opinion God intended this book to serve a special purpose mainly concerning the elect as stated in enoch chapter 1. Only they will properly understand it - especially with the questionable copies and translations available . Hope this helps .

That is why when they brought the book of Jude up to Peter, questioning the apocryphal sources within it, he couldn't simply say, "Sure, Enoch and the Assumption of Moses are valid sources--because we were supposed to be surprised by it in the "Day of Tribulation." What he does, however, is to tell us that these Scriptures came not by the "Will of Man" (2 Pet 1:21-22)

@xWhiteLightning but that prophecy came in "OLD TIME" (Read Enoch--who was BEFORE THE FLOOD, and the Assumption of Moses, which he alludes to in 2 Pet 2:11. He also quotes the Story of Ahikar 7:27 in 2 Pet 2:22 just to let us know that he approves of apocryphal sources. That is why he centers his whole letter around Jude, because THESE were the prophets that were in question, not the 24. It was to be a "RECOLLECTION," which he makes clear many times throughout the letter.

It was rejected in the early church, during canonization, not for its content, but because its origins were unknown. At that time the Ethiopian church was not yet established. MANY early church fathers speak in support of it, or the account in Gen 6. It is not condemned by the Orthodox church, although there are some within the church who speak against it. Well, it was originally supposed to be "Starlight" by Muse, and yes, it was supposed to sound like it was coming from the children of the fallen angels, because "Even the demons believe--and tremble!" not because I espouse their point of view. With the passages taken out of context it may seem like Enoch is describing a black hole, but if you actually read the text in full you will see that he is clearly describing a volcanic island mass formation. my claim here is not that you are not within all of your rights to subjectively view words as having specific meaning. But from an objective, and scientific standpoint, there's not much weight in these words. You probably know that. If you don't already, I invite you to study some cosmology/astronomy and stellar entities such as black holes to see their incredible nature. a black hole doesn't "lead" anywhere. I think you're misinterpreting the name "black hole" to assume that hole means there's some exit to it or another side to it. This is the problem. What's an even bigger problem is that you would be simple minded enough to believe that people who wrote the Book of Enoch would have any idea about what is beyond the event horizon. That's ignorance on a level that's hard to imagine. The authors of this book had not a clue about black holes.

When someone makes claims about things, especially those with which they could never have possibly had experience, it is up to THEM to prove it, not others to disprove it. We cannot be 100% sure that a black hole isn't some magic portal, but no evidence suggests that. How can I be fantasizing? I'm telling you about data that's available and backed up quite well by physics and math. You're telling me about a translation of an ancient book in an ancient language written by ancient, provincial people who barely knew anything about the world they were living in. So is it impossible for someone from that time to have known about a phenomena in outer space? I can't say 100%. But since ther's no evidence to support it, I can be pretty sure. And there is no other mention in the canonized Bible of even outer space let alone black holes. So where is the evidence that people who lived thousands of years ago who even understood the concept of planets and stars let alone black holes? I've done the research. I read the book of Enoch years ago and was very impressed with the book. The book dates to the time of Enoch. There has been only three copies ever found. one in Etheopia, one in Englands lirary volts. No telling where they got it. The other one I believe came out of Rome. The real point is that this ancient book could do such a great job of describing the black hole thousands of years before modern scienc even called it the black hole. It is where planets that come before their time goes.

this is just selective reading. You've taken statements with some general descriptions and metaphors and interpreted them a certain way. Some of the things mentioned have absolutely nothing to do with black holes. There is no value in this academically or otherwise. Black holes were not discovered until relatively recently. Any description in the book of enoch resembling them is purely coincidental, and anyone with a decent education and who isn't superstitious knows that.

how is a lake of fire an accretian disc? radiation jets aren't actually emitted by black holes, but apper to be. also, a black hole isn't "bottomless" a black hole is a collapsed star so massive that the escape velocity is greater than c. however, the "bottom" would either be the center, or perhaps a wormhole exit. there is no "weeping or grinding of teeth" in the black hole. you're interpreting something to be a black hole when it's not. it's like muslims saying the koran predicts string theory

It sounds to me like you're just against religion in general because you keep using it and "superstition" interchangeably. Maybe I have it wrong, but this book has some things going for it. A Christian will recognize that it was quoted as Scripture in Jude 14 & 15. Christians rejected it anyway, so if there is a God, and He happens to be the Christian God, don't you think He'd call Christians to account for calling Jude a liar?

Instead of being truly universal and encouraging humans to search for "god" honestly, it denounces all spiritual paths but one, condemns random human behavior, convinces people that they are, by nature, dirty and sinful, and promises eternal suffering for those who stray from its path. No it doesn't. But it does have to pass some basic tests of logic, reason, and intellectual honesty to be identified as truth. And everything in any of the holy books that claims miraculous events doesn't pass any of those. Nor does the agenda of the early Sumerians and Babylonians who were some of the first to produce creation stories which were later borrowed by other cultures, re-worded, and presented as divine truth. Nothing perfect about your interpretation of these words. You can see whatever you like in them, but it doesn't make them a description of a black hole. The book of Enoch is suspect itself. It was written, say some scholars, in the 5th century C.E (A.D.) making it bogus as to authorship by the great-grandfather of Noah. Most Jews, whose books the Torah and the Tanakh are supposed to be, don't regard the book of Enoch as holy writ.

Supposing you were right, then the ones who supposedly "forged" the book would have unwittingly described a Black Hole anyway. Maybe God worked THROUGH THEM WITHOUT THEIR EVEN KNOWING. If you accept the premise that God can speak through HOLY MEN, realize in the Bible that he also spake through UNHOLY MEN. (Balaam, Saul, Caiaphas, etc.) Also, God had the power to cleanse the unclean. ("What God has CLEANSED, call not thou "Common.")

Hey, I'm only riffing off of your argument. I happen to believe these documents are authentic and that they truly represent the mind of God. I don't think they are forgeries, you do. I don't think these men were unholy, you do. I believe ancient prophets spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. I believe that UNHOLY MEN PASSED JUDGMENT AGAINST THEM. Holy men were then moved to preserve them as best they could, possibly combining texts, possibly emending texts, possibly even composing texts.

Pretty interesting. But I'd like to say 2 things about the video:
First of all, I found it difficult reading, with constantly moving text that at times changed speed, music and a picture in the background.
Second, although that might sound like a black hole, a black hole (if they exist) could never be seen or heard. Sounds more like hell to me.

A baby is composed of food consumed by the mother, so no matter is created. CO2 is a waste product from the alteration of other substances, so no matter is created.
Hence the universe needn't expand in the situations you mention.

I mean I know about the conservation of mass/matter but when u look at how nuclear fission changes matter into energy, but even then matter can be annihilated by antimatter ( lol trust me it's not sci-fi look it up). given enough energy and a machine capable, we possibly could create matter. I mean who knows, CERN made antimatter, why not.
