No matter WHO broke the Beatles up, I believe the four of them would've gotten back together if John hadn't been killed.
Chapman is the real blame for robbing everyone of a chance to see what kind of music John would've come up with in the 1980s.

The Beatles broke up because of the tension that was building up within the group. John wanted to focus his relationship with Yoko. Paul began to dominate as the leader of the group. George wanted to put more of his songs on the records. And Ringo, well..he couldn't care less what was going on at that time. So technically, they all just wanted to move on as individual musicians.

Yeah it was yoko... before her the beatles had a rule where they wouldnt let anyone in the studio with them, and John broke that rule with Yoko, and that started it all

The Beatles broke up because Yoko tried to tell John what to do with his music and the others got sick of her. He loved her almost obsessively. From the day they were engaged you never ever saw them separate.She would sit around in the studio while they recorded right next to John. I'm not trash talking Yoko it's just that it was difficult to keep things going with her around.

It was both Paul's and Yoko's fault. But more of Yoko's fault her interference with the Band, Paul's ideas and plans for the band, and the fact that she wanted John to be the center of attention and have all the songs to himself as she saw he deserved, but IMO Paul deserved them he has a better voice than John. Sad that John never did or talked to Yoko about it he was too protective of her to dam clingy! But wats done is done.

The Beatles couldn't stand each other the last few years, John and Paul barely spoke. It's not completely John or Yoko's fault, they all just started moving in different directions artistically and getting under each other's skin.
