Why aren't boost libraries considered essential for c++ development environment shell scripts? Are we supposed to believe that standard compiler software is unilaterally different from modern data design in bootstrap loader memory io/stream?
Microsoft's use of C++ is the bigges mess I've seen. It's more proprocessor macros than the real C++ language. Number two is SAP's ABAP language use in SAP's older modules. I can't help but to bash those two companies, sorry :)
@BlackHatHackers That's why they are the standard for many businesses and have a very successful video game console, an office suite for word processing, spreadsheets, etc, and more...
Native documentation - that is the secret that would make C++ usage grow like fire. Due to the complex arguement/standard/non-standard and etc had made it a barrier for beginners. Tonnes of books pointing to the same thing won't work as fragments are the focus. 1 single unified documentation is needed for all to know and use the standard, for all from novice to expert. Consider that as part of the design of C++.

Just use C# and be done with it.

Nah. Folkes involved with C++ cannot cope with that noxious flavour of Java in C#.
