Its 5 or 6 planes flying over head at the same time, coming from different directions laying out trails that are miles long, criss-crossing each other in intentional grid-like patterns. These extremely long trails then begin to descend (to hundreds of feet) and expand into "clouds", and are there for hours. The atmosphere turns slightly hazy, this was especially noticeable since i was outside at dusk.

Do you all actually believe these clouds are being released by jets? Have you ever seen water come out of your car's tail pipe? Well, water is a by product of combustion and the same thing happens in jet engines. The water freezes in the upper atmosphere and creates the contrail. All aircraft fly at different altitudes due to flight separation rules. BY LAW they must have a vertical separation of 1000ft minimum.

If you know what "Lapse rate" is that means the atmospheric conditions are VERY DIFFERENT at those separations and their contrail persistence/length and spread differs accordingly.

Anyone who understands aviation knows this.

Contrails DO form crisscross patterns because airliner flight paths are just like highways. They are in fixed grids and planes stick to them. Go look at a Jeppesen chart. What do you see? The air route network charted as a huge grid just like the road system.

looks like 3/4 built into one, i see the planes from my view 30 miles south, there is 3+ planes on any given day... EVEN today there is 3 planes making contrails and the sky is NASTY....NO chemlines that i can see but one thing i did notice a few nights ago at about 11pm i seen chemlines with the moon light....

@WACFresno I live in Northern Pennsylvania, and they spray almost daily. Today Sunday Oct 23rd there were alot of chemtrails today. I did notice on Columbus day weekend that we had 3 perfectly clear days with no Chemtrails or clouds for that matter. So I have noticed that on certain holidays the chemtrailing dies down. Seems the pilots get a 4 day weekend. So must be U.S based pilots. and work for the U.S government or the Defense Contractors!!! Sky watching for 8 yrs. Former U.S Marine
