  • It's important to stroke it 30-50 times........LMAO!!

  • why are you cleaning it with oil and not a solvent cleaner to remove powder residue and gunk?

  • Thank you.

  • Good video man.. Better than the others I've seen so far.

  • You shouldn't be instructing people on how to clean firearms...

  • @therealfactor your mom shouldnt be instructing me on how to make her orgasm, but she does it anyway

  • That boar brush that you are using, maby its just me but it doesnt look like a 9mm bore brush. Im not hating or nothin but would be easier with the proper brush.

  • Thank you for posting this video...I just recently bought this gun and had a little trouble taking it apart and putting it back together (for a female I think I have it down pat now) want to clean it good before I shoot a few rounds in it. I had shot a Glock before I got this gun so for starters I think this 9mm will be just fine!

  • what yr. pt111, mine has two springs(big n little one)?

  • I have to push the middle button really hard to push the top forward when reloading , is there a way to fix this ? is is a common problem ?

  • @johnvines Can you make a video on it because I dont understand what ur saying

  • @SFCGrazier i think he is talking about the slide release

  • @johnvines what you're talking about is the slide release. That release is held up by the spring tension in the magazine and if you pull the slide all the way back, the release is really easy to hold down.

  • Really good job on the video. I bought one without the manual and this showed me everything I needed to know. Thanks!

  • @nitefox2k Sure no problem, in fact I have found a better way to clean this pistol, its called "The best way to clean a handgun". If your interested just go watch and thanks for the awesome comment!!

  • Thanks for the information. First video I've seen to show an example of the PT 111 cleaning. I had a question, I thought you it wasn't good to put excessive oil in the firing pin channel, to prevent garbage building up and slow the action down.

  • @dominican4real It can be, but since rem oil is such a dry oil it wont harm anything. I actually have a newer video on how to clean a pistol if you are interested

  • @dominican4real . Do you or have you ever taken the firing pin out and cleaned it? I've seen very few videos on firing pin removal and cleaning/ lubrication. BUt the video quality is bad where you can't see clearly. This is more like a training pistol like you said. Its been a pretty good gun no problems at all. I have kids so I'm big on safety. Thinking about a kimber 1911, XDM40Cal or a Glock23 for the various upgrades you can purchase.

  • @dominican4real Nah I have never done that, its not necessary and its they are such a bitch to get back in. All those guns are great you will have no issues with them.

  • Thanks for the information. First video I've seen to show an example of the PT 111 cleaning.

  • lol this has to look sexy. that made me laugh..Good vid.

  • @Eblade1999 haha thanks dude

  • The best thing for a PT111 is a bag and a hammer ! Mine had to be sent back to Taurus 3 times !!!!

  • @isisncasey Yeah to me Taurus is a trainer brand especially this gun.

  • @zeromatics101 yeah man no problem!!

  • @zeromatics101 You bought a gun and didn't know how to clean it before hand? Wtf! Another idiot that shouldn't have a gun!! How many of you drive without knowing b4? If you don't know everything about your firearm b4 you buy you shouldn't be buying one.

  • @TTBlackOPS Its okay man, everybody has to start somewhere. Thanks for the comment though, I do see a lot of people that should not own a gun that do on YouTube.

  • hey man, i found your video very helpful. when i was cleaning i think i put to much oil bc when i tool it out my holister, there was oil on the rail and stuff...but thanks for the vid...and btw the shirts are sick!

  • @dj8875 thanks man glad I helped!!

  • sorry to tell you this but it's not a pro..i have a pro

  • @TheCluck33 yes I know that after I got done uploading the vid

  • That's not a "PRO" model.

  • yeah i know i said the wrong one. look at the title.

  • its funny hicap cant tell you why rem oil sucks my personal friend owns a gunstore and has gunsmithed for 30 years... he uses rem oil so i will use rem oil....

  • well my dad was Army Ranger Airborne Infantry and a lot more and he told me to use rem oil.

  • dude rem oil rocks it has teflon which makes it sick for better lubrication, that douche doesnt know what he is talking about....rem oil is all i use and break free but it smells like shit

  • same here i use break free when i have it. rem oil i thought was really good

  • When you get more into guns you will know, do NOT use rem oil. It SUCKS

  • really i think it does pretty good. the army uses it. whats wrong with it??

  • It sucks... That's why. Just because the army uses it it doesn't mean it's good.

  • what do you recommended i use??

  • Outers.

  • dude...check out my last video...you're in it !

  • good vid...interesting shaped barrel

  • thats what i thought first time.

  • hey if you change your account to a "director" i think you can post movies loger than 10 mins they may have changed that tho

  • really.... i guess i will try that in about 20 days. thanks for the info

  • nice step by step video guide you got there.

  • thanks dude!!!

  • Good job.

  • thanks buddy

  • Your welcome, stay safe.
