Two piecing is for people who can't shoot, Chaining sawing is for close combat last resort tactic. If you think two piecing is legit, you need to put down your controller eject your disc and snap it in half.

I don't mind getting chainsawed in ranked games.. But I get so pissed when I get chainsawed in public matches.. I don't really mind if I get chainsawed by someone who was trying to pick up another gun and I ran up on them and that was a last resort but I usually boot people who run around with JUST the lancer and ONLY chainsaw in public... It's so fucking stupid.. There should be a way to disable the chain saw in public matches...

actually in gears 2 when you hit someone they don't get stunned anymore, all it does is damage: so the two piecing is gone. and epic added the stopping power not because of the two piecing its because they wanted people to stop charging at each other with the shotgun. they also reduced the shotguns power so its not overpowered anymore.

Agreed. That shit is pussy as hell. The game is meant to have a delay between the initial hit and shot, but people have found a specific timing to which they can just run around and two-piece without fear of a retaliation from the person they just melee'd. Thus, the cheap-asses that run around getting within 5 inches of everybody, meleeing, then backing up to pull a one-two shot off that was specifically designed not to happen. No matter what people say, two-piecing is a glitch. Period.

Bizzy in return to your comment, people do claim they're good with the shotgun. The reason people say the "WHAT THE-" and all that is because they get pissed off because they just died. That's just sorta one way they yell something from their anger. I say it all the time, even if i see it was clear that i wasn't landing a single shotgun shot on my opponent. And it is not by far the most reliable to beat someone down. I hate when people do that, it doesn't work extremely often.
