  • o lovley trucks

  • When, i watch this video, it reminds me the things and life that my Dad had on is journey, in and out of Trucks...The Bulldog Mack, was one of famous a Work horse, in South Africa, Australia, America, etc.. Flat nose, long nose, in the day...It's right handed drive, show a true, solue ability, pure power, strengthen, like a tank, but now days, we have poor quality Trucks....These are best in Work Horse, "Mack"

  • Hi Redtailfox1

Like this trucking song, I own a 1979 Mack R Flintstone, the one and only

    up here in Denmark.

    regards

  • What is the name of this soundtrack?

  • 'Give me the road' by the Late and Great Slim Dusty

  • Thanks. Appreciated.

  • slim the greatest of them all!!!

  • Great video. The R600 is my favorite heavy truck of all time. A rugged, unpretentious jack-of-all-trades truck. IMHO, there will never be another truck like it.

  • true mate, in europe we had the volvo F88. transformed trucking.

  • U686ST,

I do agree with ya - the R-600 Flintstone as seen @ 0:12 is my fave!

    Joe

  • Joe,

Did Mack call them the "Flintstone" in Oz or is that a slang term? They never had a name for the steel fender ("military fenders" as Mack calls them) models in North America.

  • U686ST,

They were called "Flintstones" because of the butterfly bonnet/opening mudguards/fenders - the Australian Army use Mack's RD-Model which still has the "Flintstone" style bonnet and guards!

    Joe

  • great clip really well done... keep up the great work

  • love the pics i drove 1 of the trucks u haveher but the old fart want let me drive his b61 the 1 i drove it the r600 with the drop deck and he owns the green b61 as well

  • Go the groovy R-600 "Flintstone" - my favourite of the R-models, second to the B-615RS V8!

  • I like the 'Flintstone' but i must say that my favorite are the Bicentenial Superliners.
