This paint is aquarious. i dont know why people fork out huge money for it when firstly it doesnt look good on anything, and secondly it does NOT cost that much. painters use the excuse that "oh its hard to spray correctly" bulls**t its applyed the exact same as a normal metalic, pearl or solid colour. A litre of this only costs about 45 bucks if you know where to shop

Then, check your local paint jobber for the price of the type of paint he used...at least 900 bucks a quart for Glasurit Extreme basecoat. Not counting clear and other materials. There's a ton of labor involved before you even THINK about spraying that basecoat! You can't afford any mistakes. Just sayin...shut up!!!

U GOT ROBBED. I had that pain job when the color first came out and paid $2500 on a show quality Pro mustang. By the way, the actual color is called "Extreme Rainbow". It was originally produced for the Saleen Mustang in the mid 90's. I forgot what year exactly. I had it done in 96. Slammin color when done right.

i do body work and paint its not a 12$ paint job, if it was the guy got ripped off badly

look up house of kolors, its a chameleon paint they call it Kameleon Effects

this kind of paint was top secret stuff way back in 1996 when it first showed up on a select few 1996 mystic chrome mustang cobras and the 2004 mustang mystic chrome cobra also this stuff is easyier to blend panels when doing touch ups compared to metallic and gloss

@BGVr6 I'm 99% sure your car can just be touched up. Me and my best friend are painters, yet he's delt with a chameleon paint job b4 and I haven't. (I'm aware this isn't a chameleon paint job though.) But Chameleon has more tones and colors to it. I thought it would be harder to touch up, but instead he said it's one of the easiest to touch up because of the blending into it. It doesn't matter where the flop is, the paint will stay the same. I hope this helps.

While im sure you layed the clear slick you should get a different angle with the camera. Catch different reflections to show how slick it layed. I also dont know that I would reccommend Diamont clear coat on a paint that expensive. And just for a paintjob like that 12k is far too expensive. Nothing special other than the base and mid (if this is tri stage)
