I tried this with an orange and red mix and they look so cool :) A few times the nail polish dropped to the bottom? But most of the time it worked ok.

u shud try blowing on the nail polish to make it dry then it will become a film and will be piked up easyer

@xXxLincixXx Some work better than others. And water temp matters, try for room temp (not hot or cold). Quick dry polishes.. dry quick, obviously. Heh. So they aren't the best choice, and glitter polish doesn't always like to spread out. One I've had a lot of luck with (and isn't as expensive as China Glaze!) is Sinful Colors, can find it at WalGreens.

@babsita84 not sure but if you move slowly the polish can dry even though it is in water, you have to move quickly

You make it look so easy!! I have tried to do it several times and just can't get it to come out right on all of my nails. Perhaps I am using a bad brand of polish. I will try orly and see how it turns out. I LOVE your nails!

@dsmgrl94 try room temperature filtered water. That could make a difference.

@dsmgrl94 It could be a variety of things. The polishes that are very opaque and slower drying are the best. Also, water that is not too hot or too cold is good and filtered water (bottled) works the best as well. The thick mess sounds like it's a polish that the surface dries out quick. If the color doesn't spread out quickly try a new brand. Hope this helps!!
