I simply described the plot of the film. You can take it whatever you like but let's go behind the Hollywood magic & let's get real. Did I not named the plot accurately? Yes or no?
it's about the struggle for gay men in america at that time. and about true love. the fact that they could get killed but stay together shows the meaning of true love.
the love between them is tangible, unfortunately so is the heartache and despair, I live in the Texas panhandle and am currently writing a research paper with Brokeback Mountain being one of my sources... to some it may be fiction, to me I live in an area where it is reality
I didnt like "Brokeback Mountain" very much, although I like many gay themed movies.
I think the story is kind of stupid and naive. But I like the love-scenes and kisses; they are so filled with power, love, passion, and hope, but also with doubts and despair. Very touching!
I know this reply is 2 months late QueenSheba, but I have to agree with 1Hugi1 that "Brokeback Mountain" was kind of stupid. I mean I know it took place awhile ago and in Texas (I think?), but they were so right together and yet they resisted being together as a couple. It just seems unrealistic. You don't just ignore true love like that. Otherwise, it was a great movie.
And I do see where you're coming from, but I still disagree that it's unrealistic. :P They didn't get together because Ennis (Ledger) saw a man being killed for being gay when he was young. They might have been able to be together and be happy, but Ennis didn't believe they would be safe. And they might have gotten together in the end of the film if Jack hadn't died...
I wouldn't know about that, I've only really seen Brokeback Mountain and No Night is Too Long. Umm, Will & Grace had a happy ending! xP Also, I think they're sad because people like me who have no lives enjoy crying at random people's tragedies. :P

I think the timing is perfect and the tense instrumental is perfectly matched with the tense moments from the movie, hurt and anguish... The thing I like about the kissing scenes.. I imagine it being me and this boy I like.
Gosh I wish I knew what a kiss felt like lol. I kissed him on the cheek but that doesn't count. I actually gave him a tiny kiss on the lips but I never had a real kiss... I hope it's with him.

Ha, thanks oohlala! This is actually my least favorite out of all my vids, though it was the first one I ever made so it's bound to not be as good as the others. I've actually thought about redoing it. And yeah, I think I will make some more vids, I just need to find some good songs!
