@Dragiux i had that problem, if its the DLL file is missing, you will need to download the dll files for to play the games... just try open up one of the touhou games past 9, when it says its missing a dll, note down the full dll file name and search for a download of it on internet, then put it in the touhou game folder, and voila, you got touhou games working.

I seriously doubt that Touhou requires graphics pipeline shaders, especially since it can run on pretty much every integrated GPU in existence up from at least 2004, which is the year my old Dell Optiplex GX270 was manufactured; it has an Intel 82865G GPU, real impressive. Touhou actually runs better on that old computer than on my new Windows 7 HD-6470M-equipped laptop.

okami has a pretty awesome soundtrack, but its nothing compared to tohou. THIRTEEN games with each having an entire soundtrack of incredible music, and that isn't counting all of the spinoffs and side games. I could never finish okami... it was so long that it started to get boring and eventually i stopped coming back to it.

its not that the game is hard or boring, its just that it goes on for so long and the battle system gets extremely stale after you've seen all of the different weapon types. I can't even imagine getting 100% in a game like that...

being that most of the game is exploration and the dungeons are puzzle based, and the major bosses usually take a while to figure out and even longer to kill. All of that with the sidequests and whatnot, i played well over a week every day and couldn't tell if i was closed to finished yet. i really like the game but i lost my motivation to finish it

I have to agree. Mountain of Faith is a close second, but Imperishable Night is the best. Every Touhou game has great music of course, but only IN has music quality of this level. There isn't a song in this game that I think is forgettable.
