no offense to the girl who played amneris but i didnt really think that it was the best part for her, considering i am only in junior high and i can belt that part out and not be drowned out and still have it sound good, to me it sounded like she was straining on her voice!
Interesting choreography...and interesting style choices on the number itself. You took it way above tempo, which added a whole other dimension to the song. How unique.
Having the bigger girl be a chair was very distracting to the people watching this and took away from the number. Sadly people saw a big girl being used as a chair/Horse and it was a bad move on the directors part.

It would have been just a bit better if heather had been mic'ed up a little bit more (if mics were used) or the chorus sang just a bit softer (if no mics were used). They all had strong voices, so it made it hard for one voice to compete with several during some parts.
So instead of viewing people as big or small, you should view it in a different way such as maybe their talent was better placed elsewhere.
She was a great ensemble member and had a strong voice, thats why she was one of the few girls out of the many who were chosen to do that scene. She just wasn't a trained dancer.
So instead of thinking that the choreographer made her the chair simply because of her size, you can just be happy in the fact that she enjoyed her time on stage and when she was on she gave 100% at all times.
trust me, this production, or any from our school, does not discriminate against size.
why were they wearing towels?? and when you see brooke tell her kelli and dana say hi! dana is the one you acctually met... :) kelli has been to your house! omg kelli why didnt you tell me first?

I know you were wondering why the "smaller" girls got to dance, that was only because they are the girls who are trained in dance.
The girl who was the chair loved her part actually. She would talk to me about it all the time. She is a great person.
