I used to manage a video arcade, and my mother would stop by and visit me at work sometimes. She'd always sit in one of the racecar games because there were no other chairs about, and whenever I'd actually start up the game for her I got pretty much this same exact result. I used to give out free games on the Player Two seat just so my mother could get repeatedly beaten by the superior driving skills of some ten-year-old.

And then I'd close up the shop and she'd give me a lift home.
