To complement my previous comment, I would like to add that I have seen a video of a Colombian Catholic priest speaking with a continental accent. We used to have the same situation in Mexico but that was about 100 years ago. How sad it is to see some Colombians believe their accent is inferior to that of Spain. Their priests should speak Colombian, not Castilian.

I was in Colombia last year, for the first time. I visited Bogota and Cartagena. I enjoyed them both, and felt safe in both cites. We had gone out at night, no problems.

The culture, the people, the food all were wonderful.

El video esta muy mal hecho. Si ud. hace un video promocional del pais, lo hace con uno de dos fines: O atraer turismo o promover la inversión extranjera en el pais. Ninguna de las dos cosas logra el video. A un turista no le interesa "rock al parque", ni que Montoya corra F1´s. Al inversionista puede que le interese que es un pais estable, pero no se le da ninguna info de las riquezas minerales o de la formación profesional de la mano de obra disponible.
