Thanks heaps for posting this. Though it does annoy me that a show called "Uncensored Comedy" .... wait for it - it censors comedy! Perhaps it's just one of the many ways that America has created its own version of Orwellian Newspeak - that is to change the meaning of the words "freedom" and "uncensored" so that people don't understand their meaning and as such cannot fight for it.

But Carrot has gotten himself a tsunami of haters and I now figure that's probably more because of one late and prominent 'hater' with a Jim Morrison aura like Bill Hicks goofing on him. It's a bit too much and too late. Would have been nicer to just see Hicks get more recognition during his lifetime. So yes, it's more a problem with demographics and popular demand. ;-)

A decade ago Dutch tv was flooded with cheesy commercials about sanitary napkins and dubious loan offers. That really got on my nerves as well. Thankfully I was not alone, and they pulled them. The producers finally realized that their ad campaign was proving counterproductive for sales. See, not all publicity is good publicity.

On the note of "the game" working for somebody. Some people are more interested in preforming the ART (do you even remember when people used to do that?) than in playing "the game" to try to get rich.

Bill Hicks was THE best comedian/modern day philospher of all time. He was one of a kind. His attidude and demeanor is enough to put a smile on my face while I'm grinding it out at work.
Honesty in showbiz is hard to come by and unfortunately he paid the price for exactly what he was trying to expose.
He is the only comedian that I can relate to 100%.
