Just to let everybody know... A stock CL65 weighs around 1600-1700lbs heavier then both the ZO6 and ZR1. I was cheering for the CL but honestly, the ZO6 should've won with the ridiculous difference in power to weight ratio's. The difference is like sticking a full classic VW Beetle on the back of the ZO6 or ZR1. Just shows how amazing and capable these (heavy) Mercedes are.

Even if he hit the 4-5 it didn't matter unfortunately this Benz has huge HP and once you get a heavy car moving the weight becomes less of a factor and HP takes over. That Benz was pulling hard even with the Vetter was running out 3rd and 4th.Vette needs 525RWHP or 50 over what it's got there to win. LT's CAI, tune may do it

@greg12m3 You mean low end . . . The V12 doesn't go above 6K even after mods and also why it maintains the 5 speed auto. It's all about the lo- mid range torque. That's why they pull at ridiculously high speeds where most other engines are giving in. You can have all the HP in the world but it means nada without twist.

Its the rear gear ratio its comes factory 3.42 if it had a 4.10 it would pull hard all the way through and because it goes to 7K you would not loose too much top end.
