but in english the word "eye" has only one meaning.

When you are say "Allah has a eye" but it's not like ours, it doesn't really make any sense ! What kind of other eye is there? A eye by its very nature is physical and spacial, and Allah isn't physical.

IF you were to contend that its a spiritual eye or something, it still wouldn't work.

It would still be imagining Allâh as being contained with spacial dimensions.
