When he built Zero, he gave him code that gave him artificial consciousness similar to that of Megaman X, such that he can go maverick whenever he fights X The problem is that he passed it on as the infamous "Sigma Virus" when he fought Sigma for the first time.
It's a shame she betrayed Zero... especially since I like them two as a couple. Poor Zero, having to fight and kill his lover... I couldn't do that to my girl even if it meant saving the world... I guess i'm selfish...

Wily made Zero to kill X. He's not reverse engineered, He's built custom made ESPECIALLY for killing X.
Zero virus is something that ONLY existed in X5.from the merger of the colony and Sigma Viruses. the original virus has no name, but it is identical to the Sigma Virus, so the sourcebooks retroactively name it "Sigma Virus"
Zero came WAAAY before X,and thus that proves that he is not a copy of X,he is not a copy of anyone,if he would be an copy,he would be an copy of Bass,but a copy MUCH more powerful.

I really hope you have the original PS1 version of this game. If not, I suggest you buy it or get the Megaman X collection. Really cheap now and its so worth it. But if you want the iso's (PSX roms) you can find it anywhere. It's just setting up the emulator thats the hard part. There is a tutorial on the ePSXe on youtube. Its easy to find.

Iris wanted nothing more than to be with Zero, but at the same time she didn't want him to hurt her brother, Colonel. After Zero destroyed Colonel, Iris pretty much lost it and used Colonel's fighting data against Zero (which was a bad move because Iris's body kept rejecting the data and it caused her unworldly pain).
Well, something like this. This is Why i like the music of the game Rockman X4. The music fits with the villains of the week (8 Mavericks), the bosses, and even the gigant Egregion (The Giant Dragon in the first level).
The second fortress bosses have themes that suits their natures: A fast and hard rock theme for a backstabber, and a sad soft music for the, well, a nice character that didn't deserved to die. X4 has the best music, each song fits the enviroment and battles (Colonel/General have a militar and fast one, and the final boss SPOILER gri reaper has an apocalyptic tune).
Damn, I wish it wasn't the case where Zero had to kill Iris. I weeped a bit, then took fustration on Sigma on the other X games. Truly a depressing them for such a battle.
The X series is filled with great music. Even horrible games, like X6 and X7 have awesome music (the themes of Rainy Turtloid's stage and Vanishing Gungaroo's stage come to mind.)
Honestly... I don't see how you can think Rainy Turtloid's is the most boring theme, yet think that Axle the Red's is one of the best. Anyway, you want to hear great Jungle themes? Try listening to Web Spider's and Commander Yammark's.
even though the voice acting in the english one didnt do the game justice to bring out the sadness of that fight. it really is pretty legendary to me..how you had to fight Iris because she wanted to avenge her brothers death. it's a sad fight indeed :/

Damn, I wish it wasn't the case where Zero had to kill Iris. I weeped a bit, then took fustration on Sigma on the other X games. Truly a depressing them for such a battle.

believe me that megaman X 4 has the best storyline among the entire series! in terms of graphics and configs, it's megaman X 8

The X series is filled with great music. Even horrible games, like X6 and X7 have awesome music (the themes of Rainy Turtloid's stage and Vanishing Gungaroo's stage come to mind.)

Honestly, Rainy Turtloid is a boring theme, i think it's the worst theme they've composed.

I'd have to disagree. Rainy Turtloid's theme wasn't anything special, but it was better than Axle the Red's and Soldier Stonekong's.

Honestly... I don't see how you can think Rainy Turtloid's is the most boring theme, yet think that Axle the Red's is one of the best. Anyway, you want to hear great Jungle themes? Try listening to Web Spider's and Commander Yammark's.

even though the voice acting in the english one didnt do the game justice to bring out the sadness of that fight. it really is pretty legendary to me..how you had to fight Iris because she wanted to avenge her brothers death. it's a sad fight indeed :/

*nod* Really. The first time I played the game, I never expected such a turning point. I mean, I hadn't played much of the X series but I always liked Mega Man, and suddenly Zero has to kill his...I guess would-be girlfriend.
