alright, so ive heard seed balls can add nutrients to other near by plants, if so could i use chia seeds seeing how good they are for humans does that go hand and hand or am i confusing a few facts. Someone please reply even if its to say, wow stupid question.
@PreservingLiberty If seed were currency maybe it would be destroyed to make what is left more valuable? But of course, it is currency, you can trade it, especially organic, open-pollinated seed.
the seeds wait in the balls protected from any birds, insects, or dry weather, for enough rain to set the processes off. then the billions of humus microlife in each ball come to life and set to work colonising the area where growing roots will have started. Meanwhile the nutrient rich clay which had a naturally polymerised skin has done its dry work and now feeds the seedlings which have their first roots in a perfect environment upon wet enough ground.
i have used seedballs and the results were amazing. mixing and rolling red clay from a pit with quality humus (with the white specks and mhicorozea) from the forest floor together with all sorts of different seeds, into small balls and then drying them out.
I once planted about a half acre of abandoned land with seed balls and after they plants grew we followed with chicken tractors with about 50 chickens. The following year the soil was so porous that the full lenth of a shovel handle could be pushed into the soil with just two fingers pushing on it. Amazing!
great video..this man has inspired me since the early 70's...it's great to see he just keeps going. Love the practical application of "chaos theory" in action, who needs all those machines and dangerous chemicals...only the people that want your blood..sweat...and tears.

Masanobu Fukuoka died last weekend at the age of 95. He was a genuinely great man. Why do the good die always die so young? ;-)
