  • @zazozung but true

  • The Giants knocked him out of 2 big playoff games, 86 and 91. A good guy and some great teams, but honestly, homo-town shouldn't have good football teams.

  • @BadgerinSC Stupidest comment ever.

  • He has 4 rings!! The last I heard, the Giants don't, right?

  • I LOVE IT!!!!!

  • I think the Jim Burt hit on Montana was the WORST... He knocked the shit outta Montana

  • yea now look at evry1s qb gettin smashed by the 1 nd only patrick willis and montana is still 1 of da best qbs

  • 0:22 who that?

  • haha The NY Giants combined have hit Montana so many times that in a few years if you ask joe what 2 +2 is he will pause for ten seconds and say 'the letter G"

  • @JoeCamel23RedDog8 Giants beat SF 44-3 clown.

  • Wow ... some hating little bitch made this vid. What a douche.

  • Ohhh one thing's for certain, not only did Joe Montana knock all of his opponents out in the big games, he also knocked them out in the history books, forevermore.

    GREATEST QUARTERBACK OF ALL TIME!

  • sure, Montana got hurt, but he was a tough SOB. Name another player that came back from 2 potential career ending injuries, let alone come back and win 2 back to back super bowls. I don't think anybody would have been left uninjured after that Leonard Marshall hit from his blindside.

  • The New York Giants have been NFL world Champions 4 times before the Superbowl era 1927, 1934, 1938, 1956 and three superbowl wins in 1986, 1990, and 2007 for a total of seven world championships. Seven Rings. This should clarify anything for readers.

  • @NytR0CsiDE Yes actually they do. Why not? Babe Ruth played baseball during that same Era..is he not relevant either?

  • @therealfredhamilton woooooooow in the 20's and 30's HAHAHAHAH HOW FUCKIN OLD ARE U?????? AND ITS NOT EVEN SUPERBOWL RINGS UR TALKIN ABOUT WE ALL ARE TALKING ABOUT SUPERBOWL RINGS THE RINGS THAT ACTUALY MEAN SOMETHIN NOT OLD ASS RUSTED RINGS FROM THE ROARING 20'S HAHAHAHAHA STUPID

  • @49erNation15 Yeah I know...it's simple minded stupid muthafuckas like you that act as though nothing relevant ever happened before their lifetime. Pathetic pawn muthafucka. And the Giants eliminated the 49ers from the playoffs 3 times during the Joe Montana era including putting an end to the 3 peat. So eat shit homie. Do some homework, learn something and start respecting intelligence that'll demolish than your silly little rants anytime weenie.

  • @therealfredhamilton and??? ur bitchass giants eliminated us yea ill admit that BUT you culdnt finish the job and get that RING culd ya?? no u culdnt so fuck you bitch!

  • @49erNation15 Actually the Giants won the super bowl in 1990 and 86 two of the years they knocked Montana out.

  • loser video

  • joe montana got knocked out more cuz he was intense unlike your sissys... lol jk i love the giants but im a die hard niner fan...

  • 2 WORDS: Pittsburgh STEELERS!!!!

    Two more words: Terry Bradshaw

Bradshaw has 4 rings....this is tiring....

  • Hahahah yea he wiped away his tears with 4 super bowl victories and the title of the greatest QB to ever play.. I saw the Giants, Bills, and Redskins? in that video.. While Montana was playing he won more rings then all those franchises combined.. I'm sure your upset that whoever your team is doesn't have 5 rings and a dynasty in their history.. it's ok not everyone can draft a Joe Montana

  • Montana was injury prone, other wise the 49ers have 6 rings in the 80's....So is Bradshaw better than Young with your rings argument? Idiot, Bradshaw was on great teams...Montana was good, but it didnt hurt having top 5 defenses...a West Coast, QB Freindly system, good coaching, 8 future head coaches around him.....Elway won 2 rings but he is far better than Bradshaw...Elway went to SBs with below par/par teams and good teams, never GREAT TEAMS with a top 5 defense every year....That was a QB!!!

  • First of all, the 49ers didn't win six rings in the 80s because they came up against some good teams. With a healthy Montana they still would have fallen to the 85 Bears, the 87 Redskins and the 86 Giants. Every other playoff loss he was absolutely healthy and 100%. Every team loses eventually.

Second of all, Elway won less rings because until 1999 he sucked balls in SBs. He tanked and outright lost the game for the Broncos in the XXII and XXIV SBs. And they won in spite of him in XXXII.

  • to discredit Young for being on a weaker team is ludicrous...Young would have more rings with thos Montana teams from the 80's....Also, Young didnt have the luxury of a RB like Roger Craig in the "save your ass" offense.....That guy made Montana look better....

  • Young had way more TDs to Rice, better career passer rating, better passer %, 8 straight probowls, and improvised better.....Montana had more rings, duhhhh, his teams were stacked...everyone knows that .....no brainer

  • Do you even know who was playing for the 49ers when Joe won his first Sb? Great Qbs are great Qbs, no matter what. It usually doesnt work the other way around.

  • Steve wasn't half the quarterback Montana was. Any true sports fan would know that!

  • best system for a QB's career numbers is the west coast...YOUNG shattered all of Montanas team records and he even had way more TD connections to Rice...he shattered the Montana to rice "legend"...Young to Rice was way more prominent...

  • as much respect that I have for Steve Young, he did not shatter all of Montana's records. Look it up!

Joe - four rings, three SB MVPs

Steve -one ring, one SB MVP (two as backup QB)

Young does hold the record for TD passes in a SB. But check the record books. Montana's post season records has Yound beat all the way - regular season too.

  • i hated joe at the time he played, but heck, he was one tough bastard and played better than anyone ever has. thumbs up for joe from someone who always rooted against him.

  • Joe Montana defenetly the best qb of all time

  • Typical hater. Go 9ers!

  • too bad he kept getting up and WINNING!!!

Montana haters can suck a D!!!

    BEST EVER

  • @Zaxxon2008 Yeah, best system QB ever.

  • @richig761 "System QB" my ass!

Montana has the most rushing yards of any QB in Super Bowls both TOTAL and IN ONE GAME... how is that "system" ???

Montana was drafted for his athleticism & agility more than his arm strength, as is evident by anyone who actually watched him play... the guy CREATED PLAYS!!!

Montana didnt panic like Steve Young (same "SYSTEM") and run directly into oncoming defenders... Montana AVOIDED the rush and CREATED the pass

Montana would have THRIVED in ANY "system"

  • @Zaxxon2008 Joe Montana is one of the greatest QB's of all-time. However, I just can't call him the best quarterback ever. I mean... Who isn't going to succeed with Bill Walsh's innovative offensive scheme, and the talent surrounding him for the entire time he was there. If he would of went to KC and put up outrageous numbers there, and been a legit super bowl contender I'd probably think differently. However, he didn't. It's just my opinion.

  • @richig761 Montana DID put up good number in KC, and they were SB contenders both years he was there

and now i suppose you'd claim he had great talent there as well?

    like an over-the-hill Marcus Allen?

or those awesome WR's Willie Davis & JJ Birden?

look kiddo, its not your opinion i find fault with. its your lack of knowledge

    "system qb" you're ignorant

go jack off to your Eli Manning poster & have a slumber party

  • @Zaxxon2008 In 93 Montana played only about 10 games for the Chiefs I believe, and passed for a little over 2,000 yards... Not great numbers. He did lead them to the AFC title game, however the Bills were the dominant team in the AFC at that time and went to their 4th straight superbowl. Marcus Allen also did a great deal for the Chiefs to get them there. In 94 in his final year he passed for just over 3,000 yards and didn't throw too many TD's if I remember correctly. Not great numbers...

  • @Zaxxon2008 Also, the 49ers had arguably the greatest defensive backfield ever in 84 when Montana won superbowl XIX. Lott, Hicks, Williamson, and Wright ALL in the pro bowl. So while Young had Sanders when he won the superbowl... Montana did have one of the best defensive backfield's ever. Along with, two other pro bowlers on the defense. With that said I'm not sure what you're trying to imply with Deion being there for Young. When Montana had that defense.

  • @richig761 since you say - "I'm not sure what you're trying to imply with Deion being there for Young. When Montana had that defense" i will put it to you clearly, AGAIN...

Young could not beat the Cowboys up until Deion Sanders was brought in, just for that 1 year, and that was the only year Young won a Super Bowl

    clear enough for you yet?

the 49ers HAD TO get Deion just to win 1 SB for Young

but again, you are just a kid, and you never saw Montana play. so i'll leave it at that

  • @Zaxxon2008 First of all, I have seen Montana play many MANY times. Along with every other great QB. Just because I was about 9 when he retired doesn't mean I don't own just about every big game he played in on VCR. I've watched alot of his games in full many times. Keep thinking Young NEEDED Sanders to win a superbowl. So by your knowledge wouldn't mean Montana wouldn't of won his superbowl's without his four pro bowl DB's Lott, Wright, Williamson, and Hicks?

  • @Zaxxon2008 I fail to see where a player on the other side of the ball could help a QB so much. Sure he helped the TEAM alot... However, it's not Young's fault your defensive backfield couldn't get the job done before Deion came in. It obviously takes more than a QB to win. I don't think it's a coincidence that the 49ers system, the one that helped them win four superbowls with Montana. Also, just happened to turn Young (a failure from Tampa) into an MVP and HOF QB. Just my opinion though.

  • @richig761 you are right, finally, it is not Youngs fault the DB's couldnt 'get the job done'

it IS Youngs fault that he routinely lost to the Cowboys & Packers in the playoffs while he put up avg numbers in those games, while setting records in meaningless games

while Montana routinely orchestrated 4th qtr comebacks, like he did in KC against Denver and a million other times, Young just couldnt do that.

if either of the 2 were a "system qb" it was Young with his sub-par armstrength

  • @Zaxxon2008 I would really love to hear you reply to that, and please don't spout off the same stuff you have the previous three times. Not being a dick. I just really am happy I am finally getting to argue this subject with a Montana/49ers fan. Most of the people I usually talk this subject over with agree with me... (for the most part). I like seeing other people's point of view on the matter. As you say I wasn't there.

  • @richig761 and while you make a fine point that in 84 Montana did have 1 of the best Defenses to ever play, with 4 Pro Bowl DBs, my point on Young/Deion is that the 49ers had to sign the best shut-down CB to ever play, for only 1 season, just so that Young could win his 1 SB (while the Niners had 3 DBs go to the Pro Bowl that year including Deion)

and i don't think it was "the system" that got Montana the all time Super Bowl QB Rushing total & single game records

  • @Zaxxon2008 Also, Marcus Allen averaged over 4 YPC in Kansas City... and was very effective. He shoulder the entire load because like you said... He was a bit over the hill. However, he was still very good.

  • @Zaxxon2008 Forgot to add Wendell Tyler into that mix... Pro Bowl RB along with Craig. Seriously... You have to admit the guy had loads of talent around him. Not that you can fault him for that, just saying alot of average QB's could put up great numbers in that system, with that talent.

  • @richig761 Wendell Tyler went to 1 pro bowl... WHOOPIE!!!!!!

Roger Craig was a FB that same year... not some awe inspiring backfield

and his WR's & TE? Average at best

Montana *only* had 28 TD's & 3600 yds in '84 too. hardly awe inspiring, you'd claim... but being a kid like you are, you dont understand that 4000 yard seasons were not the norm back then as they are now

now run along and watch your teletubbies dvd kiddo

only grownups are allowed to talk about Montanas greatness

  • @richig761 LMFAO!!

    You are 26!

    you NEVER SAW MONTANA PLAY!

dont comment on what you NEVER SAW because of your daddy's angry Giants/Rams/Cowboys anger & hatred, boy!

    i am 35 & i BARELY saw Montana play

i have a tape of the 94 Chiefs/49ers game and Montana had a stronger arm then than Steve Young

Montana threw FORZEN ROPES... you dont have to throw 70 yards if you throw dimes at 40 yards on a rope!

hell, Michael Vick has a stronger arm than Peyton Manning, i'd still take Mannings LAZERS!

  • @Zaxxon2008 Jesus man... who's 35 and who's 26 here? Don't pop a blood vessel because somebody has a different opinion than you. Also, I am 26. However, I have studied the history of the NFL since I was a young boy. I have seen Montana play many games in their entirety. It's just my opinion that he is not the best QB of all-time. I DO think he is one of the best... Just not as great as 49ers fans make him out to be.

  • @richig761 Christ kid, can you even name Montana's receivers in his first 2 Super Bowls? or his Running Backs?

try Freddie Solomon & Bill Ring... AMAZING players, i know! lol

(hint, he didnt need the owner to BUY Deion Sanders talents for 1 season JUST to win him 1 Super Bowl, unlike Young)

i mock idiots like you openly, and with aplomb

  • @Zaxxon2008 Who are you calling kid first of all? Seriously... I find it ironic you call me a kid, yet you lose your mind when someone has a different opinion than you, like a five year old. Don't act your kid just died, because somebody doesn't think the "ALMIGHTY" Joe Montana. I'm only 26, so I was not alive when Montana played. However, I've watched many of his games, and superbowls in it's entirety. I think he is an amazing QB. It's just my opinion that he isn't the best ever. Settle down.

  • @Zaxxon2008 Also, what in god's name does the signing of Deion Sanders have to do with Steve Young winning an MVP award. I understand he was a big part of the niners winning the SB. However, Sanders was a corner... He didn't contribute anything to Young's success. He didn't even play on the same side of the ball besides a few snaps here and there. You act like Montana didn't have Lott when he was young and in his prime and a great defense behind him as well.

  • @richig761 i didnt say MVP award, i said Super Bowl, dumbass

and Young couldnt beat the Cowboys UNTIL they signed Deion

wow kid, you dont comprehend well

Also, you contend, and i'll quote you here - "talent surrounding him for the entire time he was there"

you couldnt name anyone on the 9ers offense from Montanas fist 2 SB's besides Dwight Clark. and you could only name him from 1 catch you saw on "ESPN SportsCentury"

you might reach deep and say Craig, but you wouldnt know he played FB

  • @Zaxxon2008 Also, you act like I am the only one who thinks Montana is a system QB. There are TONS AND TONS of people out there who think that. Also, I have no idea why I would whack off to an Eli Manning poster since I am not a Giants fan. That was a little weird. I'm starting to highly doubt you are a grown man. Grown men don't usually act the way you are. Kind of pathetic. Montana put up "okay" numbers in KC, even though he did lead them to the playoffs twice.

  • @Zaxxon2008 Also, I think Montana very well COULD be the best QB of all-time. I just can't say that he is. I just think SO many other QB's could look great in Walsh's system, and with all the talent around him. That's all I am saying. I don't mean Montana wouldn't of been great anywhere else. Now take a deep breath... and respond like an intelligent human being... Not a child. I know I left four comments, that's alot... but I didn't have enough room.

  • Greatest QB of all time (my opinion).

  • Montana still haz more rings than tha whole Giants organization lol

  • but he was scared of lawrence taylor

he always got fucked up by him

  • @49erNation15 The Giants organization has seven rings. 3 more than Montana and second only to Green Bay and Dallas.

  • @therealfredhamilton You mean Chicago. GB has 12, Chic has 9 Dal has 5

  • @therealfredhamilton please clarify??? 7 rings???

  • @therealfredhamilton r u stupid the most rings is held by steelers with 6 giants have no were near 7 rings buddy

  • @therealfredhamilton hahahahaha r u serious!!??? wtf hahaha u r a dumbass they barley got like 2 superbowl wins and if not they only got 1! where the fuck did u get 7 from??!! hahahahahahaha!!!! u know nothing at all we are talkin bout SUPERBOWL RINGS not watever rings u just made up hahahaha dumbass

  • @49erNation15 LOL, hell ya he does... you can have your silly pictures.... he will enjoy his rings.

  • @49erNation15 i wish he never got hurt because then he would have a ring for finger and toe. and "america's team" could suck it.

  • @49erNation15 They haven't been in the playoffs in nine years, lol.

  • @ihateyourstupidass we are in the playoofs now fool.

  • @jayfey77 Not for long... I made that comment almost a year ago. Are you that bored?

  • @jayfey77 How did that work out for you? Hahahahahahahahahaha.

  • @ihateyourstupidass worked out well becasuse the public saw how the giants had to resort to playing classless and dirtry to win.yahoo headlines the nbext day stated the giants knew of williams history of concussions and that the giants late hit on williams head was done on puirpose.thats why he fumbled twice after that.he played the rest of the game with a concussion. due to that cheap hit to the head.

  • @jayfey77 Hahahahahahaha. Yeah ok, that's what happened. Are you crying right now while you jerk off to a picture of Joe Montana?

  • @ihateyourstupidass it did happen.didnt you watch the game dumbass.you didnt see the late hit to the head in the first half.while he was on the ground.maybe if you get your head out of your ass you would have seen it.you have gay thoughts from your last comment.how about i make you cry.give me your name and address pussy.lets see you talk shit t my face.i think your all talk.

  • Marshall broke Joe's hand after the play while on the ground by not letting go of his hand and pulling it backward. Typical of the cheap shot artist. But, this hit had nothing to do with Montana missing the next two seasons, Montana injured his elbow in the 91 pre-season game against the Bears in Germany. Don't try to give the Giants credit for putting Joe out for 2 seasons, get the facts straight... then count the Lombardis baby, count em... Bills won SB XXV anyway except the missed kick.

  • except the Bills lost. youre a dope.

  • @twhessler He hurt his elbow, not his hand, faggot. I've counted the trophies and it looks even. Great NFC Championship this year. Bills lost the Super Bowl to a team that was less talented because they were gushing pussies, like you.

  • First of all, the guy who is posting these videos, nygiantss, you can't get over Montana pimpping your team or something. Second, Montana missed no time from the Marshall hit. Montana missed two seasons because his tendon on his throwing elbow detached when he threw a touchdown bomb to Jerry Rice in the first pre-season game of 1991 in Germany. He had to have it surgically repaired several times and came back to play in the 2nd half of the last game of 1992.

  • I'm not going to "flex" my internet muscle and call you a fag or tell you to stfu, but this video is highly immature and distasteful bro.

  • Dude, I'm a Giant fan for about 25 years and I don't take pleasure in watching players getting injured, even if there on our rival teams.

I have a great deal of respect for Joe Montana and to come back from such a hit, especially after missing two years from it is very remarkable.Don't get me wrong, the Marshall hit was a great play and helped set the tone for us to go back to the Super Bowl. It was just unfortunate for them that Montana had miss an incredible amount of time from a single hit.

  • Leave Joe Alone...I support Joe Montana!!

  • Young took Montanas job in 1992, it was the right choice, it wasn't an accident that Steve Young went to 8 straight pro bowls and outstatted Montana in every category....imagine if he had Rooger Craig for all the years he played, he had Watters for 3 seasons but that was it, there was no consistent RB for Young and his head coach was a joke in Mariucci.....

  • Montana played on better teams, Young had no RONNIE LOTT on the other side of the ball his entire career.....Young didn't have a Roger Craig to dump pass the ball to and turn into 78 yard gains or a Tom Rathman, a FB catching 72 balls....Montana was good in the west coast system...couldnt win that ring when he was a chief though....too bad, he is still one of the best evers....the team the guy plays on is what i look at....I.E. Marino

  • I love this fucking video 25 million stars!

  • iam a giants fan and dont really like the 49ers too much. but i have nothing but profound respect for motana. he is the best qaurterback to ever play the game!

  • well he did lead his team to four superbowls, so it doesnt matter that he got hurt a lot go niners

  • Go Cowboys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Its worth getting knocked out if you have 4 super bowl rings on your hand,

  • joe montana is the best to ever play the game.

he won superbowls way before he even got rice and craig.being the best qb isnt all about the strongest arm or biggest stats.

its about winning and delivering when the game is on the line.

how many qbs do you see with the so called talent and cannon arms choke when you need him to make plays????

joe montana is the best ever, the only other players i see in his league are terry bradshaw and tom brady....

    49ers!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Check out an interview with New York Giants football icon Leonard Marshall live Saturday January 17th,2009 10:30amEST on The Mass Appeal sports talk radio show on WBTR..Google 'Jay reelz' for all archived shows..More guests every week..Call-in number is 718-664-9020..Live from N.Y.C

  • four-time super bowl champion. no wonder this video was made!

  • The video was weak, but yes Montana was a "system qb"

  • Montana might not have had the strongest arm, but you will find very few QBs who could throw the deep ball with more accuracy and touch than joe did. That and the fact that he was the king of dink and dunk makes him the greatest of all time. He also won 4 superbowls, 3 superbowl MVPs, 2 regular season MVPs, did things with different players (not just Rice), and the fact that he could throw the out fairly well (supposedly his only weakness) makes him the best ever.

  • Joe was great but Young was better, hands down, in every area.

  • ive never heard anybody say that steve young was better than joe montana. u must know fuck all about jack

  • The stats and my eyes dont lie. Completion %, QB rating, yards per attempt. Steve > Joe every time. His threat to scramble as well. I'm not saying Joe sucks or that Steve is 10 times better but if I was starting a franchise, i'd take Young before Montana and Favre too if he was more durable.

  • Whoever posted this video must be a rams or a bears fan. The 49ers owned them. And that is why Joe is the greatest, he kept on getting knocked out, but he would pick himself up and win superbowl after superbowl. As a Jets fan, I just want to witness 1 superbowl win.

  • That was the problem with fag-tana. If you hit him, you hurt him. Weak arm as well. I remember watching a niners game and the announcer said that the coaching staff noticed the majority of his int's came when the play called for him to throw the ball 40 yards or more downfield. So they took all of those plays out of the playbook. The greatest of all time??? Please, king of dink and dunk, I'll give you that.

  • you don't deserve to use the english language.

    MORON. DIE.

  • you need a case worker

  • If L. Marshall didn't knock Montana out of the game, the Giants don't win. It's a shame that we never got to see a 49ers vs. Bills Superbowl, of course the Bills probably would have lost, bless their hearts.

  • whoever put this video up is a dumbass. joe montana is the best qb that has ever played the game

  • Listen, sorry Baltimore lost the colts, no city should lose a team unless they REALLY screw up, but come on- Baltimore's gotten another team and another Super Bowl win, so get over it.

Explain how "Brett's about Brett" and the Rodgers thing doesn't count- that was just a QB controversy, happens to the best QBs (and Favre is a great one stats and a SB win back that up, not THE best, but a top 10.)

"System QB?" Took a crappy team like the Chiefs to AFC Championship at 38........

  • If all you have on Steve is that he's a bad analyst, then really you've described half the analysts out there- he's a nice guy. Brett is a HUGE team player, playing through broken thumbs and after losing his dad; maybe a bit selfish with the starting job, but what QB isn't. Elway didn't think the Colts were a fit for his style, and he was right, and the colts got Dickerson so it all worked out.

Terry..... that's another topic, but I still say he's OK.

    My point- none Brady-class brats.

  • Tasteless video, sir.........

Joe Montana: The Greatest Ever, a man who never lost in 4 Super Bowl tries, and didn't throw tempertandrums when he lost.

Watched NFL Films' "Road to Super Bowl XL" they have a PRICELESS shot of Brady throwing down a Gatorade cup and just yelling like Ryan Leaf after losing........... did Joe EVER do that? Or Terry? Or Steve? Or Rodger, Brett, John Elway, Johnny Unitas, Peyton, Marino?

The great ones not only came though in the clutch- the were classy.

  • Not only did Brady throw a tempertandrum, he also refused to shake Eli Manning's hand before and after Super Bowl XLII. In fact, the whole Patriots team walked off the field without shaking hands with the Giants when the game ended.

  • Joe Montana was the best QB in NFL history

better than tom brady and eli manning combine

  • 5 5 5 5 5 5 to your flawed shite . Red and Gold forever

  • Montana stil gots 4 rings and still the greatest QB ever so it dnt matter cuz evry QB has been hit hard bt this QB has more rings then ur fav. QB

  • Moronic. Maybe I should post a vid of Chuck Bednarik wasting Gifford, or LT on crack.

  • you son of a bitch montana is the best quaterback in the world he can throw over 100 yards so ya ratards.

  • hard to wipe your eyes with all those superbowl rings. morons.

  • relax retards Montana owns all of you.

  • But this is a Montana haters page so who am I kiddin. Hate On!

  • I think you're obsessed with Montana. Elway is better than Montana. Get over it.

Montana was ok and I can see why idiots say hes the "best" but to say Marino is better than Elway is just insane. Marino is a loser. He never won anything. I can name 2 QB's that are better than Marino: Dilfer and Hosstetler. You know why? because they won Super Bowls. Something Marino couldnt do.

    Marino couldn't hold Dilfers balls!!

  • Elway couldn't do shituntil the whle league was shit and he had the niners offense and the best offensive players to win. he was what, 16 years into his career looking real desparate. I'm aniners fan, but I can think outside the box and make unbiased decisions on who I think is 'better'. But Montana just had everything. Poise, cool calm and collected, intelligence, scrambling abilty, accuracy, good arm. Not obsessed with the guy. I just know he's numero uno.Common knowledge.

  • John Elway owns everyone

  • So you win, Montana couldn't hold Elways balls. He's married and probably wouldn't wnt to hold anyones balls. But he did hold his own balls like a sav when he played.

  • Your boy needed a star running back AND THE NINERS OFFENSE(Shanahan) AND for Young and Aikman and Marino to retire to win a superbowl. Montana never had a true running back. Craig was more a receiver. Come to think of it, heters always said Halloffamers this and that, but other than Clark who retired in 85, Rice, and Lott they had no other hall of famers. Get over it man, theres really no argument here. But whatever, I know this is one of those never ending blahs, cuz im talkin to another retard

  • Montana probably traumatized you when you were a little boy rooting for your shit team, and year in and year out, Joe massacred the whole league. You and your dad sitting there in the living room with your jaws dropped. Then you ask your dad, "daddy? why does our team always lose?". Because Montana's around.

  • HAHA!!!

  • or is that just your memory of elway when you were a kid?

  • If a rifle arm is all you want then you go and hold Elway's balls. Who knows, maybe he'll let you get teabagged by him.

  • thanks for the kind words.....maybe you can backup what you say with some facts instead of just saying "Montana is the best"

    Montana couldn't hold Elways balls!

  • pictures? seriously? wheres the clips?

  • this is one of the best videos/slideshows I have ever seen on youtube!! 5 stars. Montana is a joke the only reason he won all those superbowls was because he was surrounded by hall of famers and because the west coast offense was still new back then and no defense knew how to stop it yet.

John Elway is a real QB!!

    Montana couldn't hold Elways balls

  • WRONG!!!!!!!! Joe Montana had two super bowl rings before Jerry Rice ever put on a niners uniform. Jim Kelly is the best QB ever BTW.

  • WHAT? You say Joe Montana only won because off his teamates, look at Elway,He couldnt win and had losing seasons until his final 2 years when HE FINALLY HAD A GOOD TEAM(Broncos only became a 'powerhouse' right when the niners and cowboys fell off due to FA). Montana was already a 10+ yer veteran of the West Coast system in '89 when he molley womped Elway's Broncos 56-10 in the Super Bowl. Not even Brady can match that today, Montana won em blowout, Brady by a field goal everytime. You are a jok

  • funny reply.

While Montana was throwing to hall of famers like Jerry rice and going to Super Bowls Elway was throwing to Free Agent walk on's and making them 1000 yard WR's while going to Super Bowls. BUT Football is a team game so Elway lost until he had a good team like Montana always had. What did Montana do with the chiefs? NOTHING. why? because other than an old hall of fame RB he had nothing. you see the point im trying to make? It comes down to this: Montana couldn't hold Elway's balls

  • I'm not even gonna continue with you. Your'e retarded.

  • Because you cant defend Montana anymore I will accept your apology.

    Montana couldn't hold Elways balls!

  • Ok faggot, you got it. No matter which way you put it, Montana beat him in the Super Bowl by almost 50 points(among MANY other arguments). And no, I don't have to defend Montana, and especially not to you. Why do you think Montana got hit into retirement? Because the whole league wanted to take him out. Noone cared about Elway(not taking anything away from him). I'll take Marino over him in that era though. And he can't touch Montana, he dissected defenses.

  • Joe montana is the best of all time but tom brady will surpass

  • Are you a Bills, Redskins, Broncos, Bengals or Cowboys fan??? Seem a little bitter...

  • Video is pure Hate. How many QBs you know with 4 Rings Nigga

  • Yes he was the best, but he did get hurt a lot. Hell, he missed a lot of games due to hits like that and that Leonard Marshall hit contributed with his elbow injury later that off season to him missing 2 years.

  • pussy ! bitch brett favre would never nevere have done that

  • Joe only got the 49ers 4 not 5 Steve Young got us the 5th

  • Yet he was knocked around a lot..he still has the stats to prove he is one of the best QB's in the NFL's history.

  • Your an A-Hole Cuz He Was The Best QB That Ever Lived!!!!!!!

  • I agree that Montana was the greatest, but he was 4-0 in Superbowls...Steve Young won the 9ers 5th

  • I like montana but why you people bringing my cowboys into this steelers were good but come on if it wernt for that 1 lucky play in the super bowl against cowboys your team would be 4-2

  • Second as great as Montana was, he fragile as hell. He got hurt and missed a lot of games during his career. Some of those were good hurts like i.e. Jim Burt 1987 divisional playoffs or this hit. I mean pretty much the four Super Bowl seasons Montana missed games due to injury. Third, its a miracle that Montana never got paralyzed due to his narrow spinal column and the surgery after that. No doubt this guy is one of the greatest, but he sure as hell got injured a lot and that's a fact.

  • Clearly this vid was made by some jealous idiot that wishes their team ever had a QB as good as Super Joe. Believe me when I tell you, there are many many many more highlights to Joe's career than there are BS lowlights like those displayed here.

  • 49ers have won five NFL championships (4 with JOE)-- all Super Bowls -- for an NFL-best record in Super Bowl competition with no losses. San Francisco was also the first team to win a record five Super Bowls -- Super Bowl XVI, XIX, XXIII, XXIV and XXIX. Also in the franchise's impressive winning repertoire are five conference championships and 17 divisional championships. Simply the best!

  • NEVER hope for inj.. bad karma. I love big hits Ronnie Lott is my fav. But the game is about helping him up up after getting Blasted, not cheering on the ambulance to take him out lights & sirens.

  • But he got up and won 4 superbowls.

  • he already had 2 prevouis to that

no one hating on the 49's so just chillout

he was simplying stating a fact in not like were bandwagon New england fans who claim to have the greates QB in tom brady

  • Joe Montana was a great. But if you are going to show a Montana knockout, show the one where Jim Burt of the 86 Giants hit him in the playoff game. When the Giants got an int. touchdown on that play Joe was still out cold. That was a bigger knockout then Leonard Marshall's play.

  • Fuck this video. Romo isn't shit, Aikman wasn't shit, Staubach wasn't shit. You wanna see REAL QB's? Joe Montana, Steve Young, John Brody, now THERE's some badass motherfuckers.

  • stupid 49er-cowboy hater you're just mad because the triplets fucked young like 10 times in the 90's

  • That's why you never even made playoffs in the 80's after '81?

  • yeah boi. wish he had done died on dat play.

  • Its obvious someones jealous. LoL What are you one of those high school losers that weren't good enough to go pro so you have to hate on the best QB ever. And please don't say Eli is even worth the money they pay him cause thats a joke LOL

  • Eli is worth the money they pay him...

  • LoL thats funny

  • Oh, I actually have it, but you won't get it from me. I only let you know I had it so your distasteful mouth could water some.

  • I have it!

  • jealous, jealous, jealous...
