i can do it with moviestudio without masking.

first inport a fully black image then make a video and pan crop and keyframe with timeline. but dont forgot to make the black image the size of the head. so zoom out.

Hey there techtopia. I enjoy watching ur tutorials. I wonder if you could do one for vegas pro 9. I am new to this program and haven't used any of the previous ones. I want to blur a face but the settings are different. You do not as far as I can see have the option of clicking around the face but when U try to mask there is a great big F figure. I am a stumped.

Would appreciate any advice u could give me.

you . just go to help on your toolbar thingy & then look for blur w/e & then it explains everything..

except after duplicating right click your track to get to the event thingy.

You could of mentioned how to do a moving object. I mean its pretty simple, but most people don't know.

For those who want to know, go to event pan/crop, and go one keyframe at a time at the bottom timeline, and drag the mask wherever the face is for each keyframe.

Hey guys, if you have Movie Studio (no masking) you can still do a crude face blur by using a circular cookie cutter on the top clip. Enjoy =)

Movie studio is basically the same as Pro except for Masking, 3D, unlimited tracks, and a few other things. In my opinion, Movie Studio is one of the best and most user-friendly consumer editing programs out there.
