Lol the funny thing is the cupholder does that in right hand drive models too, i though it only affect our model, an the left hand drive ones would be hinged the other way
@niceguy637 I had another loaner recently (or actually, maybe it was the same car since it was the same dealership) that had the same issue. I believe something may have been stuck inside the mechanism, because I could almost feel it bumping on something out of place where it was stopping short like that. I've had at least 4 loaner TSX's now and this was the only one (or two?) that have this issue.
@shawnblog No, I have a 2011. But I test-drove several 2010's since I was going to buy used, none of them were like that, they slid up all the way, and were out of the way (they were straight)
What a lame review , get over it pal .... I have a 2011 tsx and my cups fit fine

Acura needs to stop bullshittin and make a v8 coupe that competes with the BMW m3, Audi rs5, Lexus isF, or even maybe a Infiniti g37s

Yea I think it's a defect. My 2005 goes over more. Looks like it gets stuck. The door should go down to make it straight.

@flexor212000 My 2008 goes pretty much all the way, but this was ridiculously flawed.

@nabeel4567 is yours a 2010? It seemed that it was the design.

@nabeel4567 it must have been a defect... I have ridden in two other 2010's and they were okay
