The "original" was by RAF an Italian disco outfit.. written by Giancarlo Bigazzi.

Branigan's version was a cover, all be it the most widely know and my favourite.

@Ma7m9d Lol. I can only really laugh at your incredible observations, Holmes! I noticed a few other body parts which she also moves as if they were movable limbs. Quiet extrodinary! Did you notice her tung moves (208), her mouth opens & closes. At 202 her Eye lids close then open again. She seems to have a head which is able to move from left to right as well as up and down. Her hip and legs seem to also have some form of swivel joint as she moves them as well. Lol
