TAKE 6 continues to be amazing, but I really think the instruments in this case took away from their sound. The drum was too dominant for my taste and the trumpet sound from the keyboard was out of place. It simply did not compliment theiri sound. It even sound like they clashed in some bars. I was thinking at first it was a minor chord, but it just didn't fit.

Its a shame the video and audio quality is so grainy.

Only old age will remove them from the top. They've consistently proves to be the best. Naturally 7 will eventually be kings, but their vocal harmonies aren't as advanced.

Disagreen with most of you, I love take 6 playing with a band. They are awesome players, singers and arrangers. In fact i believe that Join the Band is one of the best CDs ever.

I made a comment alittle while ago on another post /amazon about certain Take 6 fans who talked badly about JTB. Now while T6 are at their *best* when they sing accapella we must allow them to persue other musical venues. I personally LOVE JTB. Out of all the T6 CD's it was indeed JTB that got more airplay on radio than any of their CD's combined(includ. Christmas CDs) All I need,Why I feel this way,Biggest prt of me,You can never ask 2 much of love,Even though: all of these got LOTS of airplay

I love take 6 but i dont like hearing them with instruments, lol. Theyre good players of instruments but I rather hear them accapella.

that's cause they always use early 90's beats, which are way tired. you should hear them sing with the WDR big band, though. they've done two unreleased projects with them, conducted/arranged by my former teacher at MSM, mike abene.

Not sure who you think this is, but except for the back-up band, only one person has been changed from the original six. At least, that's what I've gathered from their websites. And that was a change from a long while ago

yeah... Only one guy was replaced with Mark Kibble's brother, Joel (the one singing). This is the original group who has dominated for years.
