  • green not orange

  • Where is the orange is right. It's a shame CIE are not retaining their old livery. :c

  • Where's that old orange thing? Lol.

  • There is nothing wrong with the 2800 class. I traveled on this line and those trains are fine

  • its gone and i hope it stays away

  • What a totally shit train. And to think the last time I travelled on this line it was behind a pair of 121s :-(

  • irish rail are dumb and stupid they should run the mark 3 push pulls to wexford untill the 22k class take over and get these stupid green pieces of shit off this line

  • I like the 2800 class engine sound

  • Not long now till the new 22ks take over. thank god. those green commuter railcars are a total 'mare

  • Fuckin clapped out piece of shite... no better than the old one!

  • Were's that orange thing", I remember that train. It rarely comes into the town anymore.

  • i went on one of them the table fell on me and my bageg was opened

  • don't worry proper intercity type trains will be passing by very soon

  • I see Ireland is shittifying its rail services just like we did here in britain.

  • Bring back the locomotives to this line

  • mm, kind of sad how we have enough money to electrify all the lines coming into dublin but still haven't and continue to buy dirty deasel trains that fart black smoke into our nice air, lol.

  • yeah but to make electric we burn deasol and oil to make it so there's not really much difference. the reason why you have them in dublin is because a deasol would polute dublin city's air and wouldnt be never nice to go around there

  • Wow the old BOI building.

  • Yeah, the new building is much better. And with their cool new security doors!

  • Fuckin english!!! Wot ya doin in wex town if ur gonna bitch bout the place. fuck off bk ta GB

    CALM DOWN MAN!!!

  • those COMMUTER railcars should be banned from the dublin-rosslare service. They are not suited for long distance journeys.Bring back the orange train!NOW

  • This is most definately not a second hand train.

  • It's not a second hand train from wales, god the english will say anything to talk down the Irish

  • They're *not* from Wales! Those are, as the previous poster said, they're Japanese-built Mitsui/Tokyu Car DMUs brought into service in the 2000s. There's a programme on-going at the moment to replace the entire fleet. That train is a commuter DMU which shouldn't really be running on that route. New intercity DMUs (also built by mitsui) start entering service this year.

  • hopefully one day ireland will have public transport.

  • Its a new train 10 of which were bought from Tokyu of Japan and which entered servce in 2000.

Have you net seen how much Irish Rail is spending these days

  • It's not a second hand train from wales, god the english will say anything to talk down the Irish

  • Note: it was bought second hand so its not a new train.I believe it was bought from wales (o dear). And from what i've heard its cheap and old, they have to have an engineer onboard because it breaks down SO much.awful,. just awful.Hopefully oneday irish rail will receive a big investment

  • It's not a second hand train from wales, god the english will say anything to talk down the Irish

  • cool

  • It's not a second hand train from wales, god the english will say anything to talk down the Irish
