  • Great playing mate! How does it react to low bedroom volumes? Thanks.

  • @denmut Thanks! The Einstein sounds killer at really low volumes!

  • What's the name of the very first riff?

  • @SRV1DOORS1HENDRIX1 That's "Holy Water" by Bad Company.

  • i so need a diezel now -.-

  • Hell YEA Tesla and Y and T in the same video!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Sounds good. I have a Mesa Stiletto Deuce II, but I'm waiting on the Egnater Armageddon to come out. :)

  • Killer amp and I am considering one. Are the modes for each channel foot switchable? Example, can you swtich between clean, Texas, or heavy within Channel one? Or can you only switch between 2 channels? Thanks

  • @jayrmon The modes on channel 1 aren't footswitchable with the amp in it's stock form. However, there's a mod out there that allows you make them that way. Do a search online and you'll see what I mean.

  • mmm this or the splawn quickrod :\

  • Good riff

  • These are great amps but why the company hasn't come out with a 4 button footswitch for the channels is a real puzzle !!!!

  • anyone ever tell you you look like striker (i think that's his name) from star trek next gen. number 1 engage!

  • @jerrodRHP Dude, a few friends of mine at work have planned on dressing up like Star Trek dudes on Halloween sometime. We almost did it last year, but we chickend out. It's a total joke, but we're going to buy the uniforms and everything and of course, I'll get Number One's uniform!!!! LOL

  • this amp would be great for megadeth or metallica songs.

  • Fantastic tone, man. Thanks for the demo.

  • Great tone. Whitesnake baby.

  • Is it a big deal that the amp doesn't have or come with a footswitch for the channel 1? Or at least I have been told that it doesn't.

  • I see that you have (or had) an Einstein and a Bogner Shiva...right now I'm just about to buy one of them. How would you compare the two on both channels, and which one would you buy if you had to pick just one?

  • @Brain2Me2 I like the Einstein much more than the old version Shiva I had... The Shiva was either too smooth or too harsh for me most of the time. It was hard to dial in exaclty how I wanted. The Einstein got what I wanted much easier.

  • @SgtThump Just bought one that was up on TGP, as an added bonus, It has the Ch.1 Mod already done, including the footswitch. So I don't have to think or worry about that down the road...

    Thanks!!!

  • @Brain2Me2 Congrats! I think that's a badass amp!

  • yeah, "fool for your loving"

  • I like your texture.. Not to mention that GROWL!! Great sounds i enjoy watching.

  • Look its russell crow..

  • LOL, I get that from time to time.

  • Diezel amps seems to have the tone i seek

  • Real dark and throaty, yet articulate. Nice growl!

  • Hi, sounds awesome! I got a question for you if you don't mind. The channel 2 can sound like mode 3 on channel one? This way I could use the the channel 1 on mode 2 with just a little gain and channel 2 for solos... It seems that a lot of Einstein owners use the mode 3 on channel one than the actual high gain channel (channel 2). Thanks a lot!!

  • Channel 1 mode 3 is a little brighter and more open or something. It sounds better than Channel 2 to me for the most part, but I've been able to get Channel 2 pretty close to it.

I gigged using Channel 1 mode 2 for classic rock tones and Channel 2 for higher gain tones and was happy with that.

  • Thanks man. Have you tried the Carvin Legacy 2? Or the Egnater MOD50 ?

  • I can see now I am going to have to sell the wife and kids so I can get "The Sound"! BTW when are you going to learn to play guitar? :-)

  • nice playing

  • Diezel and Bogner? I'm jealous! I'm wanting Diezel, Bogner, and H&K. I know ridiculous money, but a man can dream right? : )

  • Hey, I didn't know WILL RIKER played guitar!!! "MAKE IT SO NUMBER ONE!"

  • Hahaha, you're an ass lol.

  • @UnDeRDoGzZ exactly what i thought

  • that Einstein sounds pretty enormous

  • @99voltsdotcom indeed, that's the only diezel I'd consider to buy

  • I dress "the part" when I play live, but I'm certainly not going to put on the rock garb and spike my hair out for an amp demo on YouTube. :)

  • i am thinking of putting this rio grande BBQ pickup in the bridge of my epiphone sg.i've heard that they are veery bassy and lack some treble.can you compare the amount of gain to an seymore duncan jb?

  • They do have lots and lots of thick low end. A BBQ is perfect for making a thin guitar sound FAT! It's too much for some people, so you really won't know if it's for you until you just try it.

It has more output than a JB. The BBQ is a very strong pickup!

  • Great job...however I like your SLO vids better...just a matter of taste, I suppose...nice vid!

  • Yeah, it's "Holy Water" by BadCo.

  • That was Holy Water to start right ??

  • Great job!

    Tesla rocks!

Les Paul sounds and looks awesome!

  • Sounds pretty damn good to me!

  • A little TESLA!!!!! Hell yes

  • Big Tesla fan here!

  • Funny someone caught that...I thought I was the only one who noticed. Did it for the money. I am a friend of Frank's and Tommy's (although Tommy is long gone).

Great sound' getting an Einstein this week....cool amps. See you on the forums.

  • sir how do you possibly afford this amps...i can barely put enough money down for a tourmaster combo

  • Well, there are a couple of reasons...

1 - I made some great career decisions along the way

    2 - I work my ass off

    :)

  • well i salute you

  • That sounds fantastic. I've tried an Einstein before and it sounded nothing like that. Maybe due to different cab/speakers/guitar/skill?

  • Thanks man. Could be the differences between speakers, guitars, pickups, etc... I've found a really good combination with the WGS ET65 speakers and the Rio Grande BBQ pickup. These make everything sound good!

  • Sounds killer Chris. Love it!

  • That's some mean bottom end from that amp. I can hear a little Doug Aldrich influence in your playing and you sound killer through that Diezel!!!

  • Hey, thanks man! I really dig Doug's playing on the Dio "Killing the Dragon" CD!

  • nice!!
