Danny,
You're right brother. People do buy feelings. I leverage this concept every time I meet a potential, or existing client. I'm in a service related industry and I've had several clients leave there current service provider, and seek me out to offer me their service contracts.
It's all about making people feel comfortable with you. If they feel good about you, they "will" eventually, come to you.
