During the 1992 Los Angles riot, the US National Guard was deployed. Also, during the Waco massacre in Texas which was not a social riot, ATF troops and tanks were sent out. Thai does not have these units like the US has, but there is almost no difference between the duty of the Royal Thai army and those two US units. Americans should not be too naive. Americans should listen to what the the South African ambassador said in the same video clip right after the US ambassador in clip no.6.

I think I am not a narrow-mine person but to bring red-shirt leaders to an international conference is not a very good idea.
