  • I'm not saying you're weak under any circumstances. However, like others have said, the form is in need of some work. You can tell you're bouncing the weight off your chest because your lower back arcs off the pad each rep. This should not be happening and you should really work on letting it touch your chest without any momentum coming from your upper body. A great example would be Stephen Paea's bench at the combine.

  • @celloprof its not "amatuerish". its a technique people use when trying to get as many reps as they can anyway they can, such as the guy in this video. when ur chest is very built up, u can bouce off ur chest and it does not hurt at all.. but helps the bar come back up with more ease. wen u are lifting for a workout, u should not bouce it off ur chest, but instead focus on good clean reps with good posture and technique
