I eliminated lag but strickley using the analog out adaptor (hdmi video only). Timing seems off on yours. But with the way I have it set and my guitar (electric dual pickup) in amp mode it is live with no lag at all.

The lag is entirely dependent on one's own audio visual setup. There are ideal setups for the game and non-ideal ones and even in that subset there's variation. For instance, the game says not to use HDMI for video and audio but for my older (>4 years) flat screen TV I can use HDMI and get no lag.

That lag is awful. I got this game yesterday and my lag isn't as bad as yours after messing with the setup, but I'm returning the game. Even the smallest amount of lag is unacceptable when playing guitar.

Hey How come your only doing chords? Also for you lag issue, try playing with headphones, astros or trittons, thats what I do, gets rid of lag

Great Job.. I am still working on my single notes, haha.. Seem to be having trouble with my transistion from one fret to the next and then going back cleanly, if you know what I mean.. ugh, frustrating but I am not giving up... Thanks for posting and keep up the great work.

@JVBAIN1 It's an acoustic/electric. Pretty common really. Jack input works the same way as a regular electric.

@97redman79 It's like Guitar Hero (which they actually stopped making) but you plug in a REAL guitar. It comes with a USB cable you plug in your console (Ps3 or Xbox 360) and the other side of the cable you plug in your guitar. And the best part is you can use any guitar. :D i can't wait to get this game for christmas.

Use headphones in RS, that's what I do to avoid lag on my system.

on my ps3 i noticed annoying audio delay over optical cable. i switched to RCA/composite cable and put my reciver on "direct" mode (no dolby prologic/surround processong!) and now my delay is gone. maybe you can try something like that!

Are you running strictly HDMI cable or did you do the suggested anolog audio out? I run HDMI with anolog out audio direct to my A/V receiver and the audio lag is minimal.
