I just bought this game and had to go through this part step by step and memorize what things will pop out or happen. I never play scary games or watch scary movies because I'm a wimp when it comes to that so this pretty much scared the crap out of me but I knew I had to plow through it in order to continue with the game.

The part in the beginning where I went into a corner and then turned around to this bloody guy standing right behind me, I yelled out and almost jumped out of my chair.

This part of the game is honestly the most horrific thing I've ever played. The general atmosphere of the game alone scares the living crap out of me but this made me be scared to even start it up.

Also I went into the mansion with my drawn, fully loaded revolver and some extra ammunition and ran out or more precisely FLED with an empty barrel, the manifestated fear in my back and the panicked wish to turn the game off.

And all that without a single enemy in there ...

@tsion11 The spirit of the father will throw things around, if you are not careful they can easily collect up damage and kill you, when entering a new room step in and out a few times, this usually triggers whatever he will try, then you can know what to avoid.
