  • For those who may have found previous comment obnoxious or crude sorry. I just wonder how anyone can take this man seriously? What is advocating? Government intervention into the household? That was just my unfiltered response to this video. I've never heard of him or his work.

  • @willyhillydude

Hi Willy, obv, when he appears, other humans in your world, tells u this is our savior.

well now take a look of his activity since he revealed his self:

the first thing our messiahs concerned about, is the starving worldwide.

the second move from our messiah, is the correction of the woman, globally....

messiah or Raj Patel, is hyper-intelligent. he have to, because he revealed his self in this scientific world in an age were we get the most answers... he may save us..

  • How about women who raise shitty noncontributing children? Do they get paid? Do they live in houses ,drive cars, and eat food bought by their husbands? Lazy men who don't produce generally don't reproduce or have much food or resources, but the same is not true for lazy women there's often a lonely guy willing to provide. Some women already marry and have kids just to be set for life. Many women work, marry and have children. What about them? Do they get paid extra? Will men get paid for sperm?

  • don't worry mate, i lived in USSR, this was the same there.

I wish you would actually listen to what he has to say here and elsewhere before you spout off nonsense. He says the cost of a hamburger if all the costs associated with it would be included in the price would be 200 dollars. That includes that you would pay the pickers of tomatoes proper wage instead of them being slaves. That includes the costs of treating your diabetes which you get if you eat burgers and similar. Also he says elsewhere there is NO FREE MARKET in the world.

  • Capitalism doesn't pay women for work at home. Socialism doesn't pay anybody anything. Tribal cultures don't pay women either. I think you have confused child rearing to be a job when it is better characterized as a requirement for life to continue from generation to generation. Sorry, but no political system pays you to raise children. Please stop blaming capitalism for all the problems in the world.

  • @casimirpyahoocom

The difference between capitalism and tribal cultures (or socialism if it ever exists) is that in capitalism someone is making money off of your children and they are using the fact that you love your children and will invest a lot of time and effort to train them to be good workers for them to use. What Patel says is that since you train children you should be paid to do it as long as there are people making money from your work. Obviously in socialism this would be moot.

  • He stutters way too much- he can't be the antichrist.

  • paying mothers money to take care of their children and the house? talk about crazy. Motherhood is a divine institution by God and there is no "price tag" on it. The feminists have done enough damage to marriage and children.

  • yeah well sadly america just elected a bunch of people who probably won't acknowledge human rights and want to keep women "in their place" along with a lot of psuedo patriotism and unrealistic well wishing i sure as hell didn't hear much about equal pay this election cycle quite the opposite..screw w/minimum wage..sigh

  • What are you talking about, people do that for there families, spend time with there children. This guy is trying to win hearts and minds with deceit. Both parents contribute there time out of love in the oneness of God, you don't get paid in dollars for raising a family because it is done out of love and love is what you receive in return. He is putting out there that women are cheated by have a family. This Guy is Twisted, knowing not what great love women have for there family's, willingly

  • @SeekTruthinLight

This is not his point. His point is that someone is making money off of women doing this work and they should have a cut. What he is saying is that businesses can operate only if a society functions, that is, children are getting born, raised not to steal, raised to work hard, taught useful skills etc, and while the businesses make use of all this they pay nothing for the privilege.

  • Interesting.

  • A Spider web trap is what this really comes down to,this guy has all the right words, answeres, and now working toward the female population , im not buying the LIE....This here is the father of lies...

  • Absolute psychobabble.

  • Evaluate the women's role in cash terms... and then they can be integrated into the banking and taxation system!? Surely we work from the meaning and nature of nurture and infect the institutions of exploitation with counter-values and culture.

  • I really like this man. Seriously this topic is very close to my heart...womens work IS undervalued in society. WHY havnt I heard of Raj b4 this man is amazing!

MUCH respect and admiration to u Raj!

  • @Badwolf182 Womens work is undervalued by women.

  • this raj fucker wants to turn the family unit into a work place!!!

  • @deekaljin did u actually watch/listen to the video?

  • What work? Preparing food that you did not grow/harvest yourself? Washing clothes once a week? Cleaning the house once a week?

Most of the work that women do in poor countries is VERY LOW PAID labour for big corporations. These women work in sweat-shops sometimes for over 12 hours a day and 6 days a week.

  • this guy sounds like another pied piper.

  • That's the dirty secret of capitalism, to give some people a higher standard of living, it needs someone else to give more then they ever get back, in other words an underclass that will sacrifice for those above them.

Whether you call them black slaves or migrant workers or home makers, it works out the same. To be up, someone else must be pushed down.

And no this is not an argument for soviet style communism. But there's gotta be a better way.

  • Bravo Raj, You are realy amaizing person. Thank you for all your teaching. We all be must teaching from you.

    OMMMmmm...

  • patel is a fricken lip flappin no nothing fool. everything he says has been said 20yrs ago. and the media act like he just thunk it up now. not to mention half of what he says is utter babling nonsense. while the other half is obvious to any with half a clue.

  • Laura Flanders is an idiotiotic sycophant sitting there hanging on every word of this lying asshole.

  • Smooth talking communist.

  • This guy looks kinda like George Lopez....lol

But seriously, everything this guy says is wrong and bull crap. Do your own research people, you'll find that capitalism has nothing to do with this crises, this is the work of the FED and the government, who has their strings pulled by the illuminati. Capitalism works, these people are the ones who are devaluing the dollar causing hyperinflation and suffering, not capitalism.

  • @LordoftheKaty

Yes i notice you have totally debunked everything he said with a blanket statement involving not one fact or any logical argument. Typical.

  • @Maticprimc Alright, let me hear your argument. I'm waiting...

  • @LordoftheKaty

I do not know if you understand what i said. YOU claimed that everything he said was wrong. Therefore the onus of evidence is on YOU. Yet you provided no evidence. You also made no argument in support of your claim. Just to help you ... argument has the form of Premise + facts supporting it = conclusion. Until you provide some sort of evidence/argument to support what you say we cannot start a conversation. That is what i was pointing out.

  • @Maticprimc Number one thing to understand is that we have centralized and controlled markets. A few mega monopolies have consolidated power and have destroyed competition. The way they have done this is through special interest in the government. By using government influence and power, they help to write and influence legislation and laws, thus destroying any competition--a key to a free market--and giving them an unnatural privilege of control, thus creating monopolies. This is an oligarchy.

  • @Maticprimc A monopoly can only be formed through this system of corporatism, protectionism or mercantilism--which is the very reason Adam Smith created the idea of capitalism. Capitalism is based on voluntary trade--key word voluntary. You trade for value a product or service you have to offer, and no one can force you to, it is voluntary. With this centralized system of control, we are forced to do business with a few corporate powers. A true free market is when shops and people trade freely.

  • @Maticprimc Now with that said, our current system is run by the mega banks or central banking cartels, same people who are advisors to our presidents and political leaders. These same banks used special interest to lobby for the creation of these central banks, which is anti free market. That is a fact. Because of central banking, now the banks print our money, fake money with no value, and they loan this fake money to governments creating perpetual debt and devaluation which creates inflation

  • @Maticprimc Since the founding of the private Federal Reserve in 1912, the dollar has been devalued by 95% and over time it has created massive inflation and has destroyed living standards by increasing prices of everything. And all the tax payer money that goes to pay off this debt mathematically impossible to pay goes to these banks making them richer, giving them more control over the government, while creating debt slaves out of the people. This is all done out of fraud and it is involuntary

  • @Maticprimc Because of this devaluation and the power these banks have over our governments, they now have piratical control of our governments because our governments get their money from these central banks. This is corruption and fraud, not capitalism, for the merger of state and corporate powers is fascism. This is why austerity measures are taking place everywhere. It is because of this system why we are collapsing, not capitalism. Also, fiat money has destroyed us

  • @LordoftheKaty

I agree with about 90% and more ironically Raj Patel very outspokenly says pretty much all you are saying minus the Fed part of what you wrote but i believe that you are conflating several concepts and are a bit misled about the scale of of the Fed impact. Now however we have grounds for a nice debate. However is it possible to do it over email or something because posting in this format is rather bad for laying out an argument? Can post it back here later. matic.primc@gmail.com

  • bull...thats like sayin if a man changes a nappy...he should be paid for it...this guy has a hidden agenda...he trying to value life..its invaluble...this guy will charge you for your thoughts...only god can do that.
