I used to do this, Redbull Soapbox Derby, i was one of the best and hey, sure it had it's perks, the women, the limelight, but the whole scene had a dark underbelly. Drugs were rife, not just recreational, guys on the circuit were getting banned left right and centre for performance enchancers, ego's out of control. I was one of the lucky ones, got out while I could, I often get offers to write a book about my time as a Soapboxer, but you could say i don't like to dig up old graves
