Landing gear is another problem on this plane...yes, it "looks" cool and sturdy but, it's loosely mounted with a lot of free play in them. They do bounce like crazy if the ground isn't perfectly flat & smooth.

It definitely is a great looking plane, that's all the good thing I can say about this jet.

I bought this plane last year and I'm yet to attempt flight due to the fact that vectoring components were missing and not sure how/where the exhaust nozzle should be for proper flight without vectoring.

Second, this plane, for me any way, it came as an EPS foam which is VERY soft and not too impact friendly, not even a small bump without creating dents.

Two things: This is a FLIGHT review. Pete, shhhhhhhh.

Secondly, Banana Hobby customer service/support is non-existent. Nitroplanes has equally poor service, but better prices and faster shipping. Your product won't ship for three days at best, which is their "policy".

Dude this thing flies amazing!!!! I can do insane 3D maneuvers that the 3D Extra 300 or Cap or whatever envy at the flying field. Plus its really fast on a full dive!!! Amazing Airplane, flies so nice. I thought the radio would be cheap crap but it really isn't, I have flown this thing out of visual range to the point where only luck brought it back. I just wish there was a way to slow the gear down somehow.But either way Thank you guys!!!! You Rock!!!

@inath101 nope, buy a trainer first, get used to large aircraft and then high speed, i went for a smaller version of this after a tiny trainer, lost the plane due to crash.

@dlucarelli I don't live in the US but I've got some sympathy for these RC model resellers, a lot of these Chinese kits do use very cheap electronics to keep the prices as low as they are, and most hobbyists will simply replace faulty parts without complaining. But ts no excuse for poor customer service. Back to the topic though, a good review as always from this team and an "amazing" looking F-16.

notice when he retracts, the front hatch gets stuck, he does try to hide it, planes like these are great for a few flights but the landing has to be so precise that with a little bit of an angle landing, say bubye to your gears. modified funjet is the way to go. ;)

@MrWelch313 For what its worth-- I've bought 8 EDF jets from BH, last was the F 22 Raptor V3, looked good OTB, but found the ESC was fried, I called got through to CS, and they sent me a new ESC with in 2 days. I've had good service from them-- plus they have the best variety of EDF jets I have found..good luck!
