@writing314 There is great surf at San Francisco's Ocean Beach with lots of pot dispensaries but it is huge, dangerous and cold. Also some great surf around Morro Bay / Big Sur, but again big and dangerous with "whitey" lurking. Everywhere else sucks and I know, I moved to West LA in '58 right before Gidget came out and watched the whole thing go down - From Mexico to Santa Cruz. Nothing like it used to be. Now I live in New Zealand...much happier.

This is now a hot video now that Simpson won the HB contest. I wonder if he means "boosting" as in bouncing off the lip I'm sure that's what that is. Simpson's style is the smoothest of all by miles. He's doing circles around everyone else. I still believe Souza will win soon because his homeland waves rule by at least 20 times. We might have an admission of what is "perfect" for the first time in 10 years because it sure isn't SoCal but 1/2% of the time. It's what the pros want.
