Eh.. no. I didn't feel any emotion at all from this scene. You can't expect a reaction without putting it in context of the whole movie. I have not seen this movie yet. Either way, if you want to see a movie that will make you cry, watch Grave of the Fireflies. I also cried uncontrollably at the end of Seven Pounds, although it had a lot to do with the fact I lost a friend in a car crash shortly before.

Max has just realized, from his time with the Wild Things, what was wrong in his own life and feels that it's the appropriate time to go back and fix those things.
