well, probably they forgot about this game because for some good reasons:

1-They were losing money with each PS3 at that time.

2-Not only they were losing money, competition was and is still very tough, microsoft and nintendo, and they probably focused a lot on the PS3.

3-Knowing about my 2 first points, devoloping games for the PS EYE is hard, some game developers have complained about kinect(microsoft's camera) for that and honestly, the camera doesn't sell much games.

This game is not canned at all. Ive been in love with this game since they first showed it. It was taken off IGN's release date page thats when the canned rumor floated but its been added back.

I work in Japan and played a short part when the Sony rep came down a while back. I hope it comes out soon! This year or Q2 at least next year. Theres a ton of stuff you have to put in for the delay. Voice and video reaction to the player is the biggest

No, you can check the wiki on the eyetoy. It's true. The original design was just an infrared wand, but the new design is actually a controller with buttons.

And, again, even if they had a touch screen (which it doesn't) , the DS wasn't the first portable device with a touch screen. It's a given that the PSP2 will have one (which the Go is not) but it certainly isn't ripping off DS. As the name suggests, the unique thing about the DS is the Dual screen, not the touch screen.

Well personally i use it for chatting with friends and for interactive games, also downloaded a program for free from on the PS store that lets you record then mess around with the video, then save it to my hard drive, then show to friends at school on my PSP, is like a shorter version of windows movie maker.
