Yeah, Mate. Quality. It's nice to see some well made kits. As a kid it was about making a mess in the kitchen but as I got older I still enjoy building them. except now its very much about the paint-job. I like to make them look all grubby and weathered-up. I'm sorry I truly don't know. I haven yet found an S variant anywhere - but the video does say "Hawker Tempest". that's the only plane I know with the huge chin radiator. It's very characteristic.

The Henschel is spectacular ...did anyone else take the TOJO for a FW190A at first???

45 deg front quarter ground-view is so like a FockeWulf. Imagine trying to tell those from P47s in a mixed combat.

Would actually like some more views of the desert-painted P38, never seen one painted like that b4.

The Esci-ERTL Hs-123 molds were bought up and improved upon by Revell Germany, look for it in the side-opening blue box for $18-22. I also think the AmTech people bought a couple of the molds, but that sucker is twice the price of the RG version due to etched metal and resin that vastly improves the finished product. Watching this make me shudder to think of all the masking work I'll have to do on my Eduard Me-110E, even with all the Kabuki masks that come with it... TOO MUCH FRAMING!!!

Loved the Henchel by the way.. I'm keenly awaiting the re-release of Airfix Henchel Hs123 in 1/72.. I think it being released this month, it's a kit I'm much looking forward to, as it was one I buily MANY years ago! I take it yours is the Revell 1/48 kit? I nearly bought it, but before I could make my mind up, the shop went bankrupt.. :(

I already did two jugs, a -D in 1/72, and a -N in 48 scale, but they are not worth showing.

The Henschel 123 is the really nice Revell kit, i also did the Airfix one in 1/72.

As I kept the box-art of nearly all my kits, I'm thinking of making a video of them, just to make you envious...;-)

That would be nice to see, yes.. :) Envious I won't be, but I WILL enjoy seeing them.. :) Sadly I haven't kept any of the boxart, as my wife thinks I'm cluttering the place enough as it is.. :) Some of them had been worth keeping, though.. :) As for the P-47's, you could always make anothet kit.. :) Hint, hint..

yes, they are. Esci does not exist any longer, and the Tempest kit is of average quality. You'll find an intersesting article at wickipedia-english.
