It's not that Dax sucks, his solo records are good too; it's just a different direction. He evolved beyond just sludge metal. He's able to do multiple genres without even flinching, and that makes him a great musician.

Yes indeed, "When the Kite String Pops" is one of the best ever!  "Paegan Terrorism Tactics" was a such a huge letdown except for Locust Spawning. To be expected i guess.

@DrugstoreCFH I thought the same way for a while, but then i totally changed my mind. The songwriting is a lot better on Paegan Terrorism Tactics, while When the Kite String Pops is way more raw. Some of the stuff on Kite just seems like weird filler after hearing it so many times. Regardless, they're both fucking amazing.
