LMFAO No they weren't. MetallicA grew 10 fold after dumping Dave. Don't get me wrong, I love Dave, but MetallicA became WAY better without him. 2 different musical directions.

With Mustaine in the band we would not have had albums like Ride The Lightening, Master Of Puppets, or . . .And Justice For All. Their sound wouldn't have evolved. Also, I forgot to mention before that your idiotic comment about Dave being credited for Ride The Lightning and The Call Of Ktulu, Dave has a COcredit for those songs and only wrote ONE fucking riff in each song. In Ride The Lightning it's the riff using the "spider chord" that he claims he invented but is actually a VERY old classical technique (further showing his ignorance and enormous ego) The other is the first riff on Ktulu which he used in the Megadeth song When.
