  • @TheKickasskatie I don't want to comment

  • The depth of your teachings within the humour is so full of compassion and wisdom ... I would call you the most inspirational living teacher today. Thanks for everything that you do, I always feel so much more clarity when I've listened to you.

  • what if I don't won't to be free from corny humor?

  • Great personality

  • @superusi1 Me too! His own website says he doesn't use email! Very confusing

  • Your Emptiness,(i think u like this way of announcing to you) Ven Ajan Brahmavanso.I Really LIKE ur way of speech(damma talk's )IF u See this Please Do a Dhamma talk about Masturbation.will it be Good or Bad Kamma for everyone who do it.THIS Is NOT a Joke. Please try 2 do Programme about Good and Bad Sex.I want 2 Know Ur Opinion. Thanks

  • I have a dog that doesn't BARK :)

She was like that when we got her and we don't know why she doesn't BARK but she doesn't.. And she is a breed known for Barking quite a lot.. She is a Blue murle border collie LOL :)

  • I like this dude a lot.

  • Anyone know in which youtube video Ajahn Brahm tells the story of "The Worm"?

  • @stevesusenet i think he tells that story in a few different talks but I'm fairly certain it's in his "Deal with difficult people" video

  • @dbch80;

Thanks much! That certainly cuts down the footage to search through :)

  • The future is uncertain...

  • AJAHN CHAH VIRTUAL ZEN CENTER brings people together to practice traditional mindfulness based meditation, using modern group video chat technology. Meditators are able to meet in a virtual zen room to practice meditation, without leaving the comfort of your home. All the benefits of meditating in a group - minus the drive!

    see info at ajahnchah(dot)com

  • thank you ajahn brahm for the talk, it reminded me again live is uncertain...

  • Asking from the world, what it cannot give me. That's a very beautiful and insight wisdom. Thank you very much.

  • Tell that to

The victims of the Oslo or port Arthur attacks, " you deserve it, its karma's balancing act"

  • @lyntonio That's why I much prefer the explanation that things don't happen for a reason.

"karma's balancing act" is just a variation of the Christian "it's all part of god's plan"... "but why did god's plan have to involve the Oslo attack?" "Because he works in mysterious ways"

  • @ZiggyOsiris that's right, meditation may be great, but lets cut the dangerous unprovable clap trap. you know in Cambodia perpetrators of the killing fields are not getting proper trials as according to the government "the victims must of incurred karmic debt to have genocide heaped on them?????

  • @lyntonio, Buddhism does not say that karma of this sort is a good or just thing. It just is. Use the word "Causality" instead of karma if you want to understand it better. It's not that they DESERVED to suffer all those things, it's just that their path lead them to it. To quote the Buddha, “I do not believe in a fate that falls on men however they act; but I do believe in a fate that falls on them unless they act.”

  • @ZiggyOsiris "God's" plan had nothing to do with Oslo. It was the attacker's plan. He chose action, and his victims did not see it coming. Simple as that.

  • I feel we are often dissapointed, because we just cannot see the course only the dissapointed consequence.

  • Hahahahahahahahaha

  • There is always someone who does'nt like this(lol) <3

  • Its not about results in life, its about the road that leads to the result

  • U get the opportunity to ask him ANYTHING & some woman asks about a tattoo!!!!

  • @n0t0ny0urnellie1 no wonder we used to keep them indoors...

  • I hope you and the the other monastics have a good rains retreat. Thanks for a wonderful talk!

  • Is it wrong for me to take pleasure in seeing Rupert Murdoch's empire crashing around his ears? ;-)

  • Is there a way to send E-Mail to Ajahn Brahm?

  • @DearsRenRen he usually says he doesnt have email, but you could check out their website bswa(dot)org and see what you can find

  • @DearsRenRen Thank you so much ^_^

  • Great talk, thanks.

  • Can't wait for the next talk, this one was incredibly helpful!

  • Not to prove the ego, but just to feel safe and not afraid, I know that for our family, living in fear is a sort of death in itself, if we get the comfort to know there is heaven after life, those brave warriors who die fighting for truth will reach there.

  • I'm pretty certain at some point I'm going to die.

  • @UU361 When?

  • @porpoisepork I'm thinking he meant in the future sometime

  • @beavisandbutthead104 And my question was "when". To which the person would have to reply, it's uncertain.

  • i needed this!! perfect timing :0))

  • A few month's ago after a trip on MDMA, i realized that there's love out there unmatched, genuine true love. It was different, it encompassed everything and everyone, there was a oneness, a feeling unlike anything i had ever imagined. I became a Buddhist from that day on, trying my best to cultivate this love i felt that day, yet, being sober, my view of that eventful day experience changed, it grew into something that was my own. I need to slow down again.

  • I'll do my very best! :)

  • Still with life being uncertain, there's nothing worse than not taking risks because of fear of something going wrong, do you want to die a hero or as a sheep?

  • @computermaster when you get older you will realize that taking all those "risks" which are a lot of times provoked by youthful ego are not necessary and affect your body in ways that make later life miserable. risks are okay when needed but not to prove things to people or ourselves. aging teaches that foolish risks are a bit stuoid

  • oh.... no new more talks for next 3 months.
