Anyone know if that is Sensei Michael Panossian third from the right in the judges panel (the bald guy), I trained under him in Perth Western Australia, he is one F*#&$@ tuff guy
it was a very dirty fighting of both performers. the guy from aze has missed too many not counted hits and kicks. too bad was that the japanese guy was not prepared for throws at all, because those throws were not the bestest in the world, so that aze guy could brag them in judo
ochen' gryazno dralis' oba sportsmena. iz aze voobshe propustil ochen mnogo nezshitannyh. ploho chto japonec ne byl podgotovlen k broskam vashe t.k. broski ne byli super takimi uj chtob hvastat' imi v judo.
@034max430 something like that...he didn't removed it at all but he removed half of it so in next attach of his opponet glove will be out of hand ,than referee must stop the match so he can put it back and he used it to take a break .... that is expirinece and aghayev have a lot of it... i don't like the way that he fight but he is a real champion...how he did that sweap when it was 7-4 for Japanesse guy that can do only champs. 'couse he did it it f*****g right moment :D
@JPEWD yes, it was against the rules. But Aghayev bent the rules. How? He clinched Matsuhisa when the ref does not see his hands clasping. So, instead of Aghayev's take down appearing as a throw (since his hands are not "clasping"), it appeared as a takedown. Breaks of the game. Adaptability: something that you can also carry in real combat
Muy buenos competidores los dos Pero definitivamente se ve la superioridad de Aghayev en este combate. Y también deportividad y buenas formas, cosa que en otros sistemas de lucha se echa a faltar a veces
@Darragh62 d federation is trying to make the sport more exciting by trying to encourage more kicking techniques instead of the old boring reverse punch match up
@Darragh62 d federation is trying to make the sport more exciting by trying to encourage more kicking techniques instead of the old boring reverse punch match up .........once d reverse round house didn't follow through like a hook kick the point will score
@nickotko oh right... im a competitor myself under wkf rules, was always under the impression the leg had to be fully extended on contact to register a score...
Aghayev is one of the best in the world but is a piece of shit. Amazing SANBON by Matsuhisa! I'll try it in a fight... if I don't brake my leg xD (from Italy). Nice video!!!
That was a great match. Aghayev's throws were excellent, Matsuhisa's kicking was impressive, I thought he let himself get cornered too much and he could have used his size more to control the ring. Both had great footwork and very quick tsuki. Credit to both of them. And true sportsmen in spirit as well, very competitive yet full of respect and mutual congratulations.
@barnehagefanden I think so! That is why I zoomed in on the doctor. Initially it looked like the "Japanese fighter" (not jap) Matsuhisa had hit Aghayev harder.
Not his tooth actually... Just contact lens... I've trained with the Japs few years back and Ko or Matshuhisa wears a very high degree lens... without it he's blind... hahaha.. that;s wat he said ... few occasion we're in the same championships in ASIA, and outside...
Raphael- First met him in 2004 in Saudi Arabia for the World Islamic games... he won the -70kg at that time, which was my category... heheheh... same category, in Turkish Open, 2005, and not forgetin Tampere,2006 WKF..
best kumite ever seen , both were amazingly talented .

aghayev should never have won, because he threw matsuhisa over the hip and that's prohibited!
and aghayev punched a tooth out of his mouth!

@JPEWD why hip throws are prohibited? Another reason why I do not like wkf

Rafael take him down many times like he was a fly!....this just shows he(japonise) was careless.
