SALEM were cool before I heard how they sound live, they're definitely a band I would rather listen to on record than see in person. Totally agree, I hope future releases sound like this. Cold Cave are something of a departure from anything Wes has done. Hopefully come No Fun Fest we will see some awesome videos of them playing live.
